Sony could have....
- Fixed the Y-8 mission bug.
Instead they gave priority to a trival bug so Jedi could wear their flight helmet.
- Fixed Krayyyshk station quest bugs.
Instead they gave priority to a trival bug so Jedi could wear their flight helmet.
- Fixed patrol mission bug.
Instead they gave priority to a trival bug so Jedi could wear their flight helmet.
- Fixed weapon panel displays in POBs.
Instead they gave priority to a trival bug so Jedi could wear their flight helmet.
- Fixed (insert an additional 5 page list of bugs here)
Instead they gave priority to a trival bug so Jedi could wear their flight helmet.
And you mock my character because I didnt get what i want?!
isn't sheild exploit still outstanding? and I'm sorry a 50k infinite booster on a missle boat for PvP still is over powered when most ships you'd missle boat with can handle it just drop your blasters a lvl or 2 and 0.0 spd DI's for POB's still out there too

Leave Ducimus alone. He has the right to be angry but unlike a lot of people around here, he has the balls to actually put it down in words which I respect a lot.
His reasoning was perfeclty well...reasonable. We're all paying the same for this game and yet again, the jedi get a fix and they allow you to access ships you're not certed for in order to save -them- time, because come on people. Use common sense here. Before you drop pilot, you should know to strip your old ships because the flippin' recruiter guy on the ground WARNS you that you'll lose all your skills etc and that includes your ship certifications. This latest fix wasn't because somthing was broken...it was because people are too stupid. Simple as that.

Yeah.
The list i was giving in my last post, i was listing things that you'd think would be on the lower end of the complexity scale of the myriad bugs in this game. If their going to spend any fractional iota of time on JTL, youd think it would be for real issues that effect everyone.
And instead, they fix flight helmets for jedi...
Yeah.

You know, I must have the worse profession choices in the game. I have yet to see any serious fixes for either commando or pilot in the last several months.

Yeah, commandos, smugglers, pilots, hell im sure we can add more names here too.

Anyway, im done venting, i got it out of my system, im chilled out now. THanks for the backup folks. If anyone wants to flame me, well, phhht. i dont care, i had my say already.
EDIT:
Oh ya, and WE ARE TOO a profession, dammit!

rapax, if anyone tries to flame you, about 2/3 of the board is going to pounce on them.

In good news, jedi can now keep wearing their Ace helmets, even after they decay. Meanwhile, the Y-8 quest is still broken, the hit box on the RGI is still off, and the "traveling too fast through patrols" bug is still around. But hey, Jedi can wear their helmets...
No they can't =).
No one can wear Black Sun Ace/Any other Ace pilot helms now.
I just talked with another person on Kettemoor who has a BSA helm, he can't wear his.
And upon trying to equip mine, I couldnt either.

Is anyone in the least bit suprised if this is 100% accurate?

All of a sudden hmm the only fix in the publish was jedi getting to have helmets? it was actually innate armor users which is more than jedi.
Far as i could tell there was a host of fixes listed. Lets take a look.
Combat
- Changed the Combat Haste value on Luilris Mushroom Pie to be more in line with other Combat Haste buffs.
Experience Points
- Updated group experience point bonuses and group XP bonus rewards can now be easily identified in the XP feedback.
Misc.
- The word "sturdy" and "glass" are no longer reserved words. (not exactly shipwright specific but is slightly affecting)
Profession: Bounty Hunter
- Master Bounty Hunters should see more Elite level marks.
- Bounty Hunters should no longer be prevented from attacking their NPC bounty targets.
Profession: Creature Handler
- Pet Critical Damage (both the ability and Bio Engineered stat) will work correctly.
- All triggered Pet Abilities will now have Action & Mind costs for the pet.
- Ranged pet actions will now have the same Action / Mind costs as melee pet actions.
- Pet Ability experience points will now carry over to next maturity level when completing a maturity level.
- Creatures of the same species as a pet will no longer ignore the pet and only attack the master.
- Creature Handlers will no longer occasionally receive double experience points when their pet is not in group with them.
- Added the Train Pet command to the command browser (CTRL-A).
- Pet Abilities now have unique buff / de-buff icons.
- The pet command training window will automatically re-open once the pet learns the command.
Profession: Droid Engineer
- All droid modules will work properly. (not pilot directly but is a fix to a proffesion that keeps us in droids and flight comps)
Profession: Jedi
- Force Intimidation will no longer copy the previous target's posture to the current target (which sometimes resulted in a cone of death). (look the one jedi exclusive fix)
Profession: Musician
- Players can no longer move other player's musical instruments.
Profession: Scout / Ranger
- The restriction on placing a camp too close to a lair has been removed.
Profession: Smuggler
- Slicing components will now auto-stack.
- Slicing Critical Damage will work correctly.
Profession: Weaponsmiths
- Weapon crafting using loot drop stocks and scopes will now create valid weapons. This change only effects newly looted component stocks and scopes.
- Nightsister vibro motors can now be crafted with valid damage types. This change only effects newly looted Nightsister vibro motors.
Space
- Players are now able to access components in ships in their datapad that are not the same space faction as their current space faction. (ok we know this was here but marking for accuracy)
Species
- Species abilities can again only be used by the specific species that have special abilities.
Vehicles
- There is no longer a 15-45 second delay on calling vehicles.
- Disabled AV21's andJetpacks can now be repaired at garages.
Wearables
- Some helmets (such as AT-AT Helmet, Black Sun Ace Fighter Helmet, Imperial Ace Fighter Helmet, Privateer Ace Fighter Helmet, Rebel Ace Fighter Helmet, Tie Pilot Helmet, and Tusken Raider Helmet) have been reclassified as clothing so can be worn without incurring armor penalty or being prevented from wearing the item.
- In cases where the game would occasionally think a character is wearing armor, and they are not wearing any armor, but an armor penalty is applied will no longer happen. (notice that jedi wasnt mentioned once because its not jedi specific)
Japan
- Japanese players will notice they have a new font!
Sure pilots could use some love. So could shipwrights. I have a master shipwright and 4 pilots.I still dont believe that gives me a right to bash everyone that gets attention over my proffesions.
I will agree that a degree of jedi bashing is acceptable. But the over use of it as a punching bag is not. Not all jedi are the stereotype that seems to be 100% implied now.
To the point where out of 29 fixes listed in the publish notes 1 item is jedi specific and that makes it a jedi lovefest.
What somebody was yesterday matters not. Today is the day.

Well, this is the pilot forum, and personnally, i dont care about any fix that does not pertain to space or piloting.
If someone else got some loving, good for them!
But here in the JTL game, all thats readily visible, was a jedi fix for helmets.
