Sadly sony has been doing just that. Broken features, bugs, exploits, and all. (thankfully one exploit that has existed since launch, is getting fixed but thats about it, more remain)

Sony devs have yet to make a post SPECIFIC to the JTL community about what they have in mind or what they have planned, or whats on their agenda. Is there a profession they ignore more?

Basically, we are the red headed step children. I seriously dobout we're anywhere on the "priority list" if they have one.

It's like I said in another thread, Rapax, we're not a "real profession". We're an add on. Something that all players are expected to be able to do at some capacity. They simply don't consider pilot to be a profession. We're expected to be Smugglers, Tailors, Dancers, TKMs, or Bounty Hunters who just happen to also fly.

Space resources are borked (more of a Shipwright issue but hey, maybe it'll get fixed with two coorespondents spearheading it)

Rebel Space Station still is invincible

Gad, I hate all those bugs. IIscandar keeps bringing up the asteroid resources thing, though, and I've mentioned all the others 2-3 times, but those are really the worst.

Is lag still bad out there, then? It's been better since they reduced the asteroid spawns. They were talking about adding a toggle to the targeting boxes, too, which might help. But I'll be sure to mention it.

I have one character that's a Ranger, and one that's an Armorsmith ... one profession that has been looking for a revamp for a LONG time, and one that's had bug after bug hitting post-CURB. I'm not sure I'd say pilots are the red-headed stepchildren...

Heh no one's denying there's lots of bugs.....and I'm not saying lag is the worst of the bunch, just one I think would be easiest to fix. Lag is usually OK, just like I said, when you get a /comm box pop up it drops your FPS till it goes away, when you turn into an asteroid field it drops your FPS till you turn away from it, when you blow up a ship your FPS hiccups, and when lightning arcs in front of you in a nebula your FPS can drop substantially, and lightning arcs in nebulas a LOT. Very frustrating when your duty spawn spawns inside a nebula and you have to take out5 waves of fighters at 11 FPS

I mentioned these specifically only because I figured it would be a quick enough fix for Darth P to turn down asteroid spawns (referring to the eye-candy asteroids, the non-collidable kind), disable non-dialog comms or link them to /toggleCombatTaunts at least, and turn off nebula lightning, since none of these actually DO anything, they're just for immersion and eye candy.

Acutally treena's response got me angry becuse i think shes right.

So i decided to call the devs out on it

Bet ya its deleted, or ignored. No dev will bother to respond to it, not matter how i worded it. Frankly i dont even think they listen to tomo.

I've already gotten in a little bit of trouble already today, so perhaps I should stay off this topic. But I will say the devs listen, it's just hard to say when, or when that communication will pay off. I know with the stuff I bring them, sometimes I see responses and action almost instantly, sometimes it takes months.

I do wish they came out to the forums more. Policy seems to be to rarely if ever discuss stuff that isn't already on TC, though, so I'm not sure how much they'd end up being able to say.

Don't get yourself into any trouble, Tomo. It seems we lose a lot of good correspondants that way.

Well... don't push your luck too hard if all its going to do is blow up in your face. Not worth that.

Well, thats my point exactly. Everytime they fix something on the ground or add something to space they break more things than they improve ... so please soe, leave space as broken as it is now, at least its still playable.

Correspondents have tended to get in serious trouble only when they decide to fall on their swords for what they perceive as the good of the community. I speak my mind, but try to do so responsibly, so I'm not afraid of serious trouble. I've got faith in the dev team to treat us like adults, and in my observation, it's only when we stop acting like them that real trouble arises.
