That's plain ridiculous.
"Look, up in the sky! What's that?!"
"It's a Bird, it's a Plane, it's a Jedi!...No, it's..."
"A super-tricked out Z-95 on crack, dude!!"

Can anyone confirm this bug?
I think to test it, get someone in a JSF, make sure they get blasted by a missile or space bomb. Then they have to get blasted and at the station. When at the station /vrepair themselves. Assuming this works they will have a negative value on their engines. Get a junky level 2 engine and do /vrepairother. When i did that I saw a massive negative percentage on my engine. Repaired at the station (which I was next to) and it gave me the Mach 5 Speed Racer engine

Try it in a Nova Courier and see what kind of speed you get.

Yea it is probably the same as it is in almost every other ship we've tried it in. Basically it has like zero YPR heheh.. I stop on a dime and turn on a dime.

I have a question about this. what happens if your throttle is at half? does it go 2500, or is it back down to normal? If you put throttle at half and keep it there I mean. Great video by the way

You're not the first person to experience it. And the speed is always about 5100 after your engine gets bugged. Another way to make it happen is to have the engine condition hit 0 with the appropriate overload command. (Obviously, this only works on severely decayed engines.)
Kinda fun to be able to travel at nearly the same speed as your lasers, eh?

I'd love to see that on a bwing of nova. Any bystanding imp clone pilots would sh*t their pants. Imagine what kind of stunts a bwing would pull off with that mad fishtailing.

I had that bug happen to me about 5 months ago. Was in a Y-wing LP... did a /vrepairother and my engines disappeared. Called for repair ship twice, engines came back. Slammed the throttle to full and zoommmmm....5120 and doing complete turns once every second. I was in Kessel and asked a guildmate to come in to show him something, asked him to line up behind me. "Ready?","Yup", slammed boosters and throttle... did the review of the corvette depawn and spawn in less then 15 seconds. I opened fire with my guns and actually overtook my shoots.
Feeling that it wasn't very sporting I repaired at Dantooine and landed. Engines reset themselves to normal. Would have been interesting to keep the engines for a bit longer and buzz Imperial players...."Whossshh!!!" "WTH! WTH was that?" "Whooosh!!!" "Was that a Y-wing, what is going on here?"
