ill ask this. what tier 4 ship does NOT have at least 2 weapon slots.

RG TIE springs immediately to mind.
That may just be the sake talking however.

(In all seriousness, it's a damned nice ship when outfitted correctly, single weapon mount or not.)

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

No, 'Imperial Guard' or 'Royal Guard' TIE, or a variant.

Definately not 'TIE Guard Interceptor'.

Royal Guard TIE Interceptor. Red thing. Two pokey bits at the front of each wing, where the lasers come from. Completely and totally rocks all. Yeah, we know what you're talking about.

You're telling me. I miss my AdvancedX like crazy, especially while flying through the Imp squadrons.

With the RGI, you can cram a lvl 10 re'd gun into it. Ask that guy with the 39k mass 5200 dmg gun.

I would rather have one of those with WO3 running on it than a couple of lvl 7 guns any day of the week. I have to say the RGI is up there with the best ships in the game - definitely the best Imperial ship IMO.

I'd rather be dead in a RGI than alive in a JSF .

Ive just been messing around in the RG tie and had previously been flying the heavy TIE.

anyway observations using the same gear in both.

RG < Heavy at manuverability (the RG only flies well @ 50-100% throttle wheras the heavy TIE works well 25-100% throttle)

RG > Heavy (just) at top speed, very small diference tho

RG > Heavy at killing due to the spread damage seems to hit alot more.

RG < Heavy with mass (15500k)

And of course the RG tie is almost unhitable (but thats a bug)

All in all the Heavy (when they fix the RG tie hitbox) will probably be the better ship, it will be very close anyway.

I disagree. The heavy TIE's hitbox is so big that, even if the RGI's hitbox is expanded to what it should be, it will be a better dogfighter.

Plus, it's red! And we all know that red goes faster and fights harder.

Which is why you, and all Imp pilots, should just run away in a straight line when you see a black-and-red X-wing or Actis dropping in behind you...

I'm assuming black and red would be your colours, hmm?

What aboutwhen wesee black and red Sturmgrenadier JSFs? Was I supposed to run from them Halyn? I just sorta wandered in to DS the other night, and the guys at your station had better cookies, so I went on patrol for them. I ran into those JSFs like I said, and err *mumble*I kindablewthemupafewtimes.... *shrug* sorry if I was s'posed to run in fear and stuff, but see if its a red thing, well I'm red too and it's not just paint *nod*

The running from red-and-black fighters only applies to Imperial pilots. We Rebel pilots must take extraordinary measures to defeat the Empire!
