Who said you're not good enough? I've actually written about 4 pages of posts today but deleted them all because in the end..I just found I was repeating myself from previous times. Issues regarding the RG TIE etc.. /shrug

Lower = better.

And please don't take ANY piloting advice from the people telling you that higher is better.

I'm a dev, but I don't work for SOE. Does that count?

You know though..it is possible for your DI to be 'too' quick. Well, in a sense, I mean when you weigh up the mass constraints against speed, along with say command speeds for re-running shiled shunt. It'd be inneffective to have an uber speed DI at a crazy mass if for example your capacitor wasn't able to recharge sufficiently between shunts.

If you've got the mass for it, there is no such thing as "too fast". If you're taking damage to the point where your capacitor hasn't had time to recharge enough, you're getting hit too much. But sometimes that happens (almost happened to me last night against the 'vette. Bugger turned a lot more than I thought it would). And when it does happen, I don't care how much energy my capacitor does or does not have at the moment, if I am hitting that button, I want whatever it has in my shields.

You can go here to see what the stats are for each type of component. This was a Friday Feature a while ago and does a good job of explaining things.

Haven't been playing long have you? Numerous are the times the Devs have stated something on the boards only to have the people that actually PLAY the game tell them which was their elbow and which was their be-hind. And CSR advice.....HA...ha-ha.....no really thats funny. I once saw a screenshot of a CSR reply telling a player touse wound medpacks to heal their ship parts.

oh BTW lower droid command speed is FASTER.

Translation: Your answer isn't good enough for me. I need a dev to come tell me something that I could have easily found out for myself if I had just bothered to get off my butt and test things.

Umm, yeah.....I wouldn't worry to much about the opinion of someone who comes here and asks for a Dev response to one of the simplest questions in piloting.

And what's going on in the GCW forums? More Jedi whining or something? Hold on, I'll come get your back.

I'm being moody. Between being told that I'm not good enough here, and the huge argument I'm in over on the GCW boards, I'm turning into a real b1tch this morning.

Is it just me...or did that ENTIRE thread just get the axe? I can't find it in my post history.

They always do. You get used to it after about your third debate on the subject. Honestly, I expected it a lot sooner.

Considering that last week when TH did post in here and gave a link to a Droid Command guide that was written and accurate in beta and for about 5 weeks after launch, you really don't need to ask for a Dev to post in response to a gameplay issue that you could EASILY CHECK YOURSELF!!!

Sheesh, I tried to be restrained like treena. I did. I think my sentence was too long, I couldn't hold on any more.
