Maybe if they creat an elite pilot prof requiring 3 or so aces, maybe one or two branches of it can include ground survival techniques. Watch our naval pilot kick [tush] in Behind Enemy Lines. Maybe it could roll together some modest mitigation, pistol skills, and pistol whipping (melee) skills. Just enough to avoid dying and getting killed by our equivilent of squirrels.

Hmmmmm, I could pull my reactor, capacitor, and disruptor around in a wagon. Then to shoot, touch the red wire to the weapon. I could vaporize the little squirrels that want to deathblow me.

Screw composite armor, I'm wearing durasteel armor. Screw the personal shield generator, I'll use my crafted mark IV.

Speaking of NERF, how about a nerf gun cert?

In all respect, this thread has some good ideas and I hope I'm not turning it into a joke post.

That would be so funnt to see a guy walking around with a couple slabs of durasteel strapped to his flght suit like a sandwhichboard

The durasteel also looks good for whacking emeny overts over the head with. I don't careif you have a composite helmet, that's gotta hurt. But back to the point, the pilots should have a survival profession. It should either take up no points like pilot or use 1 point per box like force sensitive. The skill pointsmust be kept minimal to remain feasible to crafters.

Maybe we can buy some protective gear with prestige points. New helmets, flight suits, jackets and so on. I don't think anyone is askingfor10k full protection tank suits, just something to keep the nunas at bay while the pilots are able to burst run to their house/shop. Either that or let us fly our ships sub-atmosphere and clear out our landing areas

Post this idea on my thread.

I would ace more squadrons if they'd just fix the remaster bug.
