No pilot skill can only be learned by the NPC trainers. However, you CAN use droid programs from other factions, so find your self an imperial pilot who will make chips of Engine overload 2 or 3 and weapon overload 2 or 3. Use these as well as capacitor overload and reactor overload. I find that unless I am running a ship with 3+ guns and ordinance, like an Xwing or Bwing or Rhykzerk, I can get away with a level 1 or 2 reactor. Common ones mass at like 1000-1500 and generate upwards of 11k energy, add in reactor overload 2 or find another privateer who can make you a reactor overload 3 chip, and you have plenty of energy to run your ship and 4 overloads. In your level 3 flight computer that you can use at pilot xxx2, you probably don't have enough space for all 4 of the level 4 overloads and cap to shield shunt, I would suggest Reactor overload 2, capacitor overload 2, weapon overload 2, engine overload 3 and cap to shield shunt 2. The rebel programs aren't worth using right now. I am guessing from your posts that you are only using the privateer programs...the Imperial programs will help you TONS. Use them!!!!

Engine overload can turn a mediocre engine into a great engine, and a great engine into...well too much to handle sometimes! If your current components are nearly as good as I suggested previsouly, I would attempt to skim mass out of your reactor, capacitor and maybe drop one of your guns down to level 6, the mass difference between level 6 and 7 guns is staggering, but the reduced performance is not very noticeable. This will allow you to load up a mark one spacebomb for the YT's engines. You only get 3 of them, but they are the most effective ordinance for turret weilding ships.

I really don't want to see you give up on JTL just because you are stuck on a mission.

Think of it this way, if it were a breeze and you just walk through it, would it be fun?? Not for me it wouldn't. If shipwrights are unwilling to RE something for you, bribe them, start with paying 1k per level of RE and let them keep a KSE schematic if the RE generates one. Go up from here. If you are so totally flustered with this on Bria...you CAN switch your character to a different server, I assume since you are just returning after a long absence that you don't have any friends on Bria.

Switch your character to Scylla, Starsider, or Ahazi. These servers seem to have the largest active pilot populations. If you come to Scylla, send an in game tell or email to Narrganocca. I WILL HELP YOU

It all depends on damage and shield. I learned the droidbox first. put in the rebel shield to front, shield to back, imperial weapon overload threeand capacitator overload three.

If you've learned another box first, you're screwed no you're not just have to find someone willing to help.

I would but think were on a diffirent timeframe (GMT +1)

Tried this mission two more times and failed miserably. I thought I blew up the YT the first time , but it was my ship blowing up instead /sigh

If I need to group, I feel that is BS, but ok...problem is I havent found one group on land much less one willing to go to space on Bria since I started playing again last week after being gone since the second month of SWG's release.

I just dont get it. The fighters that surround the YT are no problem, all lvl 3 medium/light fighters, 6 of em total I believe. The YT just wears me out regardless of what I do. I even tried smacking it with several rockets then jtl and come back to no avail. It was just fully healed up and sitting there with the rest of its escort while the three RSF ships sit 500m away watching in starry-eyed wonder. Then I get blown to bits again.

My chassis on the Dunelizard I bought yesterday is now next to useless. IT has like 1000hps left. If I cant beat this mission with a 2400hp chassis there is no way I can win with a 1000 hp vessel.

Also, cant find an EP anywhere. Never used one either so no idea what it does...I'm assuming its an AE electrical pulse...

I have alot of trouble finding anything decent from a shipwright on Bria. Every single one I have talked to has been rude and obnoxious.

Any other advice or help and I'd be greatful.

e pulse is a ability not a program. if ya go to the tab labeled space you should see all you ability's. i can remember though if you got epulse at your lvl for the next one. i have to look on mine. i thought you get iff then epulse. or its reversed. Iff scrable is a good one too when your being attacked and you want them off ya.
