I dont think the devs where throwing the imperial pilot a bone with the JSF. Nope, its not that all 3 professions can use it either.


I think we're all vicitms of marketing. I think that LA is somewhat responsible for the JSF. They probably went unto sony and said, "we want this to expansion to have many enticing hooks in it to maximize sales!", and subsequently coaxed them to deliver just that.

I just wish that the Imps had a decent single person fighter to use for mining.

TIE Defender ^

I just did Inquisition without touching the JSF or a heavy. Easiest squadron I have done so far. This is partly because I knew how to load out ships when I did it. I did half of tier 3 and all of tier 4 in a TIE bomber and my vette run with another pilot I ran into in Kessle. He was in a JSF but my bomber was essential for the missles. The TIE bomber is a fine PvE craft. Good bombers pilots are few and far between now that the heavy varrients and relics are out.

I just upgrade to the bomber to have a play with it, after my initial shock of "OMG this is worse than a b-wing" I'm actually starting to like it, just got to get a decent engine in and watch your throttle speed for turns and rolls and dont overcompensate.

It has far too much mass though, I can see me dropping it for the tie advanced soon.
