Hell, I make 100 cpu on the space asteroids. If I did it more often I'd have a lot more money.

I picked up my Heavy TIE for 300k, and counted it not a bad deal...

200 - 300 k creds a night.

Take a destroy mission when you hit master and you get 500 k - 1 mill creds every couple of hours!

Nope, I enjoy mining myself. I just don't think a newbie with certs for L3 gear would enjoy it that much. The high end mining gear in a 3 hardpoint is what makes the difference for me.

I wouldn't say that, Pace.

Mining can be a great source of income, depending on your server. On mine, I know a SW that is currently paying 50 CPU, which nets me about 100k+ an hour for easy work...and I have not tried the toggle tractor beam trick yet, so that figure might be way low...

Problem is, mining for a low-tier pilot has the potential to be quite dangerous, even for the *easy* resources.

Money gets easier and easier as you start taking higher tier ships. Once I started being able to take tier 3 ships with ease, I was making credits hand over fist. I currently have 500,000 credits sitting in my bank, and I'm only CL 15 on the ground. I can buy pretty much anything I need at this level. If you're an Imp, I'd suggest saving up for a Heavy TIE instead of an Intercepter. It seems to be an altogether better ship, and probably costs a similar amount. They're harder to find though. Good luck!

Umm, no, I was checking on Monday night and only found 2 Heavy TIEs on Bloodfin, both were going for 750k.

Almost makes me wish I didn't give mine to a guildie...
