Ranks and Wingmen would be nice for prestige , at a rank like commander or gold leader or some kinda squadren leader you get like 3 wingmen that fly with you everytime you launch in space like pets on the ground ,would be nice for all us piolts that have mastered Imp Rebel Ace piolt and really have nothing to do

All this talk about prestige xp, but what exactly DOES it do? (I have no idea, grinding to master pilot as we speak)

Right now, its 30k prestige points to enter Deep Space. That's it...

it'd be great if it did something, but not FS conversion. it's a slippery slope that you really don't want to go down.

What about faction point conversion? Really, the conversion thing is not the best solution, I'd just like something to friggin do with it.

Think it will be more like 10000-30000 to 1 I have around 8 million right now, I cannot make enough trips to deepsace to kill that if I just hypered in and out for a weeks worth of play time. I would be willing to take anything as that is where I spend the majority of my time. The only place that seems to have a Star Wars Feel. You get 5-8 k per kill in Deep space or Kessel, this would be the only thing I consider not a Grind, hope they add something else to space as well.

faction point conversion would be fine by me. there's a billion ideas out there floating around. hell i wouldn't mind a simple leaderboard.

And this is EXACTLY why it shouldn't be converted to FS xp. Do you want to turn DS into the equivalent of grenade grinding baz nitches?
Not to mention that the ISDand Freedom Station should be far from soloable.

I'm all for point conversion, but not for any jedi advantage in space. I find that a fair compromise.

NO!
Some of us fly to get away from the Jedi nonsense on the ground, the last thing space needs is a million semi-afk pilots grinding away. Not to mention, both space XP and prestige are way too easy to get.
