I would be hapy to use the A-wing if it's mass weren't so darn low. Finding enouph decent parts to RE for the A-wing is a pain in the butt.
I use the B-22 for pvp and it does great against JSFs.However I think the JSF looks cooler and I like Jedi. I also think Anakin's JSF from Clone Wars cartoon is cool too. I only have a limited amount of time to play in a week. I'm busy grinding FS XP, so I don't want to regrind Ace.
Thereneeds tobe enouph shipsso everyonecan fly what they like best and there should be no critizism for what ppl choose to fly as long as the ships are ballanced. The only ships that should be faction specific are the ones from Ep 4, 5, and 6 that were used by the Imps and Rebels, ie TIE (all variants), X-wing, A-wing, B-wing. Any ships from Ep 1, 2, and 3 should be for all factions. I know this won't happen but that's my opinion of how it should be.

Yeh, but you don't need a fully re'd set of parts to have a half competitive A-wing, trust me. My latest is my greatest, but I did have 11 previous versions of the same ship while I was perfecting it. Anything from Mk IV onwards handled well, even the version with a post nerf lvl 6 engine. I know things are slightly different now (understatement
), but still you'dbe ble to get a certain amount of the way with that setup.

i fly a A wing in PVP, B wing in PVE, and turning my Heavy X into an uber Mining ship.. been thinking about getting another B wing for mining ship..
my imp flies a TIE interceptor. I built it in one night, and it can take aramiss out 47.5k mass.. don't have chaff on it yet, max on chassis is 49k... and u thought 65k was bad seare? LOL

Jedi are pampered enough in other areas, they dont need special treatment here too.

if you are that caught up in roleplaying then what are you doing asking for a one of a kind fighter that was destroyed a few decades ago when you could fly a GCW ship like the awing.
