It isn't exactly a movie or series, but what about the TerranWraith fighter from Starcraft? That thing was pretty cool with the cloaking device and all.

And nobody mentioned the Delta Flyer or a Runabout either, both would be really cool to have.

I'd like to see what it would be like to pilot a star fury from Babylon 5, bet that would give the JSF a run for its money.
They could do some cool manouvers cos they had thrusters on all sides, they could stop dead in space and flip round, or head literally straight up and backwards, ending up behind you like a harrier jump jet.
You're getting chased down in deep space, he's trying to get a missile lock on you, suddenly, you're behind him LOL!

Speaking of Babylon 5, the Warlock Destroyer would be a wonderfull capship

Just about anything from Battle Beyond The Stars.. It had some cools ships in it, despite being a rip off of Star Wars.
"Nell" would be a cool ship... and that capitol ship that was a cross between a corellian corvette and a star destroyer.
Maybe the Nestor... but then it'd have to be a POB ship with a minimum of 5 people to control it.
(Don't tell me no one else has seen that movie and doesn't think it's awesome... in a really bad movie sort of way)

Understanding that this topic is just for fun, I'd like to see:
- The Enterprise from Star Trek
- The Prometheus (sp?) from Stargate
- Death Gliders from Stargate
- The X302 from Stargate
- The Naboo starfighter from Star Wars (I know, I've spoiled it with something feasible for RSF pilots
)
- Whatever kind of ship Max is from Flight of the Navigator
- Ah, heck, lets throw a Gundam in here too!

Day of the Cheetah was published in 1989. The YF-19 and YF-21 were seen only in Macross Plus, which was released in 1994.

I'd have to go with the YF19 from Macross Plus or thefighterfrom Farscape (not the Marauder).
