We're now one week in the re-launch. In that time we've added:

- 52 users

- 1400 components

- 14 hours of loot session analysis

- 45 ships

Wow! All this participation just makes me want to do more and cooler stuff.

I _really_ need to put in more profile management features. For the time being, I've sent you your password via board private-message.

Moved the google ads to the bottom of the GUI. They were starting to drive me bonkers.

Yeah I've been doing some highly irresponsible goofing around with the codebase tonight. Should be cleared up now.

No problem just kinda freaked me out

That and I noticed you haven't added the:
reverse engineer level 3 Cert level 5
Novaldex Droid Interface MarkII

That and I just wanted to say thank you so much for this website, I love trying looking at all the numbers at lunch and then going home to loot something better.

oy I've had all kinds of problems with droid interfaces. I'll get that fixed up asap.

I got real tired of doing back-end data validation tonight, so I spent a few hours writing a chit-chat application instead. You'll see it in the header when you log in.

Time, prepare to be wasted.

Added some nifty widgets to the latest entries tag in the banner that allow you to scroll through the latest entries for different categories of stuff. Click the left and right arrows that bracket the italicized banner text next time you log in.

I had an idea for how to accelerate and improve the component submission process.

I could enable users to mass-upload component screenshots to the server via a highly automated FTP process. Behind the scenes the system would slurp those uploads into a database. Once processed, logged-in users would see 'pending components (98)' (or however many) and would be able to click the link to bring up a slightly modified component submission form that would include a the screenshot...then it'd just a matter of finger-netting the values into the fields. Both the image submitter and the data entry user would get credit for the submission.

So the question, in two parts:

1) If you don't currently submit data to spaceLoot but doprocess a lot of items in the game, would you be willing to occasionally mass-screenshot and upload those items?

2)as a site user, would you be willing to input data from screenshots from time to time?

I've set a goal of 50,000 components to consider the database to be really robust, and I'm just trying to think of more ways to get us there with the least hassle possible.
