Id hate to see demand go even lower. There are some people that try to sell tier 4 ships for 240-300k but its hard. but at prices that low your only selling ships for 3 cpu where the resources cost you 2 cpu to make the ship. You'd be better off minning and then selling resources rather than making ships at those prices.
My point is we need decay to survive. In fact i would promote increased decay if possible lol (shipwright part of me speaking).
Being and ex-shipwright on 2 servers i know where your coming from before i started mining my own materials i made almost no money, but then i started mining all my own materials except a few for componets where i needed good ones(weapons sheilds and engines). Instead of paying some guy 2cpu for resources I got them for .2 cpu and got friends and guildes to help lay the harvestors. Also on a side note if i good resource spawn comes in that people are paying rediculas amounts for you can gather alot of it and sell it.
1) I would protest against any pilot xp or prestige xp being converted FS xp. It doesn't matter what conversion rate it is at, the sheer idea of giving jedi any bonus what so ever in space makes me sick to my stomach. I hate them on the ground and would hate to see them in space grinding for FS. Leave it on the ground.
Think of it this way, at least some of them would be overt....
No they woudln't lol. they're afraid to die. And all he is asking for is prestige points. not fp to convert. you don't have to be overt for prestige points.

I am mainly speaking for other people, with very expensive and hard-to-get ship parts, but even myself, a regular dirt-poor master pilot, doesn't want any PvP decay. Or even decay in space. Think about it, spending more then 10 million on a pre-nerf engine, just to fly for a few weeks and have the thing nearly destroyed, with nothing you can do. That to me, seems kinda unreal and unfair to the people who spend their time and money on these parts, just to have them blown to smithereens.
I know what to do.....lets convert all of our ships into balloons!!! That way we can all just drift through space harmlessly bumping into each other!!! And we can still use the texture kits on the balloons so we can have sweet paintjobs!!!! That would be totally wicked!!!
Anyway....
You don't want decay....DON'T GET SHOT DOWN SO MUCH!!! Learn to fly your ship and you'll get shot down less. Pretty simple. Less death=less decay.
I've still got my pre-nerf RE'd reward engine in myOppressor and I PVE/PVP almost daily. I run EO3 all the time and EO4 in deep space. Part of the thrill of flying is the fear of getting shot down. And part of that fear comes from not wanting yor parts to get banged up. But they will get banged up. Nothing you can do about it. Just get over it and learn to fly and keep collecting parts. Do you people really expect to keep your uber RE parts forever? Why? Use them and abuse them. That's what they're there for. And if you are paying over 500k for RE'd parts you're an idiot. Go into space, collect your own loot and you won't have to pay that kind of cash. And to be honest, as good as the pre-nerf engines are, looted and RE'd engines can be much better if you know what to look for and hold out for the good stuff. I've only got one or two engines left to collect befroe I've got a nice lvl8 engine. And then I'm going to scrap the pre-nerf 6..or sell it to some moron for 10mil.
