Really? Cause there is almost an identical thread over in the FS forum and yes you guessed it. Complete opposite of this thread. So this one gets locked becuase like 4 people disagree with it? Nice. Real nice.

Like I said before. If I wanted endless /signs I would've posted in the FS forum like the other thread. What I think is needed is an answer.

Indeed they are... That's what's funny about people shooting the "jedi hater" label around. Again, he's talking about "keeping Jedi out of space", which is major sleight of hand of the issue. Nobody is keeping Jedi out of space. They are keeping it from being relevant in a twitch based game, for the same reason that every other profession is irrelevant. BECAUSE it's a twitch based game.

Those same folk, theyaspire to be jedi in the game, buthave no real love for jedi, just a need to be Uber. This lays it out completely what's bothering him. He'dgive up the jedi powersin spaceargument(IE what FSXP would lead to), so long as there's something he can be that will give him an advantage over everyone else. Something other than "practice", that is...

These are the same guys that would be a chef if they had a one button kill skill, or a dancer if they could instantly stop 10players in their tracks. They don't care about what profession they really are. They don't care about jedi, or any of the real character concepts of the game or the universe that they play in. They just wanna be Uber. Ifa living mattress from Squornshelous Beta 5 could wipe out a legion of jedi they'd play one.

Truth of the matter is, if they truly "loved" jedi, they'd wonder why the dev's made being a jedi so"grindish" and so out of canon. And if they really wanted to "better the game", they'd wonder why the devs would do something so munchkinlike as to make them uber, throwing the game way off balance and making folk like me spend 80% of my time in space and the other 20% shopping.

Here's where obviously the needs of the "jedi" players seem to outweight the needs of any others in his eyes. Or,INSTEAD of uprooting the whole game as it was meant to be to fit their needs, he would suggest:

Indeed. That is the very definition of trolling.

And as for that definitive and final answer, you'd bedishonest to yourself and to anyone else to say that if a dev came in here and said "no FSXP in JTL and that's that", that you'd close the case and end this thread. You won't, and you know it. Just admit it.

I would say everybody else knows that too, but that's speaking for other people, which is a good way to get flamed.
