If someone said, "you suck!" to me, and i didnt know him as a friend, id put him on ignore about 2 seconds later.. Althoguh i might wait to see what his next tell is.

Actually we arent talking to people. When I send a victorious tell such as "For Alderaan Imp Scum!", "Your easier to hit than a Death Star!", "Baron Fel wont be recruiting you anytime soon farmboy!", I am in character as an elite (and i mean ELITE) rebel pilot who has just vaped an elite Imperial pilot. Hence the RP bit of mmoRPg. You are meant to roleplay it you know?
OH i roleplay. Some.
Its more a matter of attitude or view.
If i see an overt player, he is "a hostile", and i get keyed up.
A hostile is a target who must be killed before he kills me. No assumptions, no exceptions.
When the hostile is destroyed i calm down, and not before.
Only when he is dead, do i think of him as another player.
The roleplay part comes in before the battle, and long after ive landed. Rarely in between as i tend to be very focused.

All I know, is if anyone talked sh*t like that to me, I'd make it a personal mission to make their overt/attackable life in space a living, breathing (or rather, lack thereof) Hell.
Typically my only /killtell is to tell them what they did wrong so they'll hopefully be more of a challenge the next time around. Some just made the mistake of running into me.

I have a few Imp friends Dumicus and a fair few of them are good pilots. Its just, they must all be alts or somthing.
For clarity, the pilot I refer to is Da'a who I believe used to be part of Nord Squadron so you should know her.
My RL friend who seems to play on Starsider and Bloodfin mostly is Adellea [Thats he toon's name anyway on Bria]and she doesn't post in the pilot forums because..well I'm not entirely sure but I know she reads them. She is playing on Bria again due tome hassling her and I think she is trying to get the Imps more involved in space on Bria...plus she is one of those wierd roleplaying types [like me ] and Bria has a good roleplay scene...'specially on Tatooine.
Plus..if you want rhetoric Dum'..try holding a out of character conversation with her for more than 5 seconds and it won't work 
. In fact..I'm going to try and make her post here because she is full of knowledge and honestly is scary in pvp.
Her exact words about not posting here to me was that she believes this place to be too much of a 'hornet's nest' at times and in some respects I agree, but I'm just as hornet like as many around here so I don't get too bothered by it.
In fact, while I'm being completely out of context...I've taken some time to reflect on my personal attitude as of late as a pilot and I don't think I like it. Not to be hippocritical or anything, but some of what people have said concerning FP Farmers wanting to be left alone etc....well I'll leave them be if they don't come within close proximitiy.
I always said I'm trying to encourage and preserve this game...so as of now...I'm going to be completely neutral..even if I'm rebel and pvp a lot .
