Bah.....The ISD is too easy. I solo'd it 2 times last night. The tier 5 tie aggressors near it left me alone. The only thing shooting at me was the SD. You'd think it could hit more with 100 weapons. It seems to me about as accurate as the stormtroopers in ep4.
With no missiles it took approx 10 minuts each time.
As for the accuracy thing, I could understand if it was shooting at me and mabe my wingman, but I was alone. There were no npc rebels nearby to pull any of the fire, it was all aimed at me. I did take a few hits, but nothing I couldn't handle.
That was in the b-22. I think I'll try it in my KSE just for kicks before I sell it.

I think there may be a bug with targeting on these two ships too. The other night I came to a full stop in front of the rebel station in order to suicide....and it took the thing several minutes to pick apart my Oppressor. Haven't had a lot of time to test though. They definately need to tune up turret accuracy, especially with the new smaller, faster ships.

I got it down to 3 minutes now in my B-wing, including respawn time. Nice fp

Can some rebel try coming to a complete stop near the ISD, and report how accurate the turrets are?
I tried again with Freedom Station last night. Just came to a complete stop. I could even watch the turrets, they'd hit me, then the same turret would fire about four times around my ship. Then it would hit me...then miss...this was in a TIE Interceptor.

Yeah, and you ARE aware you're emptying DS by doing this, right?
Because in the Devs' infinite wisdom, it seems popping the ISD causes the Imp ships to leave, and since the spawns are synched, the Reb spawns disappear too.

yeah I only do it if spawn's to light to reset since on ISD respawn pop both sheilds and it repopulates quickly

That's the exact reason, as an Imperial, I protect that thing no matter what I'm flying. Someone takes on the ISD, I'm going to fly straight at them. While they might be having fun getting that prestigious "I soloed the ISD" comment, they effectively kill the entire zone. While it might not be an issue for rebels that can farm faction elsewhere, Imperials almost need the rebel spawns out there to get a decent amount of FP.
So the next time you're on Bloodfin and killing the ISD, watch out for that Imperial getting ready to blast you to pieces.
I did not start this thread to make the prestigious "i soloed the ISD" comment. I think it is too easy.
I also wish there were some imp players around to protect it, cause the the DS tier 5 imp NPC'sare laughable.
To all imperial aces on eclipse, come defent the ISD from me if you can. I'll be there killing it over and over tonight after 3am eastern(i know not alot of players are on then, but thats the time I can play). And ill probably be killing it alot on tuesday.

I am. I only do it when /who is empty (doesn't shown /anon) and the DS crowd known to me is not online.

Yeah. I know you didn't start this thread saying that. I was merely commenting on that because I have seen a lot of the newer players feeling proud of soloing it. I see it more as a fight against the lag then an actual ship.
