thats form the pilot helper list, add em to your friends list and if you see one or two log on, send em a /t, apart form the rebel pilots lol, you may also want to contactall of themand have them program some droid chips for you with their factions commands unless you already have done, i ended up completing it with my friend, 3222 freelance and a guy he knows who has freelance master, so 3 of us. the next one is also a long and difficult one, i think it may be solo'able, but when you reinforce the tie fighter squad, be carefull, as a gunboat spawns with a wing escort. hope you get it done soon, and damn, why'd we ever choose storm squadron

I will but there are only 4 imp pilots and 4 or 5neutral for my server. I have sent /tells to 3 so far with a'not in game' response.

I don't know if the list is up to date post CU, given so many have left. It could just be they are in a different time zone which is why I posted this.

Just an update.

I still can't do this. I went out with a 3433 and a 4433 neutral and a 2222 imp pilot just now.

All went well until the very verylast bit when we got jumped by some tier 4 ships. The neutrals went after those and Icontinued to the wp only to get jumped by the tier 3 spawn while the neutrals were 3k away. Didn't have time to hyperspace.

I can honestly say, hand on heart, that I have rarely felt more depressed with a game. Months and months this has taken and still not there.

Out of curiosity are those tier 4 ships the pirates over Endor?

They are, yes.

I wish I were on Corbantis to help you out. It took me quite a few times helping out a couple of imperial pilots to figure out how the quest can be done. Mainly it involved me in my Rihk(sp) taking everything out while the Imperial pilot trailed behind me while keeping his distance from the pirates.

The main problem seems to be that those who come along get distracted by attacks outside of the mission parameters. Instinct takes over and they forget what they are there for which is to help and protect me.

I am equally to blame because I should hang back and wait for these guys to kill the intruders but it's hard to find a safe place on instinct when tier 4's are attaking me and thingsquickly go pear shaped.

I am one of those people who will join the PIlot helper list immediatley I get master as I enjoy helping others and I do feel I would love JTL if I can just get up there. I just can't seem to get properly qualified help.

What irritates is there are loads of people out there who have done this mission and almost all of them will have needed help with it. They must know how hard it is.

After me telling all my friends how cool pilot is and how helpful this profession is I really do hope I get some help from in here guys. If you feel you can help please mail me in game. I am looking to try again on Friday night (UK time, which is about 67 hours from this post).

heh... you could just do like I did last night and drop Storm for Inquisition.

That thought has crossed my mind

Thing is the mission is so easy for anyone with tier 3 or 4 skills I am just getting more and more fixated with it.

If I don't manage it by the weekend I swear I will drop it, and my guild and go and live in an empty squill cave on Tatt.
