I posted a comment in another thread, but I figured with as much talk as this had gotten, might as well start a new thread.
It looks like the EP3 ships are for everyone, and will be Tier 4 certs. I'm happy about that.

Good news, that's for sure.
Can't wait to get my hands on an ARC-170. Wonder what the mass will be on that thing?

No, no, no.
From the interview:
"The new Episode III ships in the Rage of the Wookiees – Anakin’s Starfighter, Grievous’s Starfighter and the ARC-170 will not be faction specific and the required pilot certification for all the expansion ships will be tier 4."
At the time it was given, I expect that these three ships were the only ones available. It'd be beyond foolish to see Rebels flying those Imperial Guard Interceptors. Besides, those are the "Episode 3" ships, not the "modified existing JtL" ships.

Nice. Rebels obviously get the modified rebel ships, Imps get the modified Imp ships, And freelance gets... the same ships everyone else can have. Would have been nice if at least one was a neutral only ship or if they added mass to the K & I fighters like they did for theReb and Imp variants.

There is also supposed to be a modified light Hutt fighter, so the Freelance tree *is* getting at least one addition the factions should not have. All in all, though, I see no reason to complain when everyone gets some nice new stuff, and I see no reason to consider the post-RotW system un-balanced.

I'm Glad I havnt quite masterd freelance pilot on my other char yet and I wanted to try out the new ships.. I hope they also increase the amount of ships allowed in the data pad. Stinks only being able to have 3.

I doubt very seriously if the modified Tie and Z-95's are Tier 4, unless they are some really bad mothers
I think the article was refering only to the EP3 fighters. The modified fighters should be spread out through the tree's, and possibly quest based rewards. The Neutrals will get modified fighters as well, I'm just not sure why they haven't showed pics of them yet, maybe they aren't done yet, who knows, but the neutrals will get something.

Yet another example of why Imperial and Rebel pilots should never whine about not being able to fly a YT-1300. Once again, Freelance pilots get ignored.

How are freelance pilots being ignored? You're getting new faction-specific ships. I'll hop on TC later, but I know there's at least a heavy Scyk in the certs for you guys.

Wait a second..
"Folks new to the Star Wars Galaxies experience can buy an all-in-one pack starting may 26th that will have the original ground game, plus Jump to Lightspeed (the “space” part of the game) and the brand new Rage of the Wookiees expansion. The all-in-one pack also comes with the BARC speeder from Episode III Revenge of the Sith as an Exclusive item."
Does this mean the only way to get a BARC speeder is to buy the retail pack? What if I want both the varactyl and the new speeder?
