A 'Token' to me means something you are free to use at your leisure. But if still having the Token stops someone from getting Master Badges, isn't that just like not collecting $200 when you pass GO just because you have a Get Out of Jail Free card put aside?
It also seems doubly stupid for Pilots, who (1) can't use Pilot boxes for Respec and (2) need those badges to start a new Pilot profession.

If you have been able to /respec for 3 weeks or longer, you're bugged and need to file a ticket for a CSR to end it. If you have the token respec left, you'll need to use it before you get the pilot badge. If you're no longer able to /respec and still haven't got the pilot badge, file a ticket and keep your fingers crossed you get a nice CSR.
I disagree with one point here - the Token Respec is bugged - you should be able to gain badges while keeping the token respec, you're supposed to be able to save it for a later date so you should still gain badges if you have a token respec remaining.
Everything else is good.
I ticketed my issues like this with Storm Squadron and a CSR kindly gave the badge to me yesterday, so it's off to Black Epsilon for me

Still waiting for an answer though and it's been 3 days...
I've done three squadrons since respec ended and recieved badges for all of them. Last night I finished Crimson Phoenix, and guess what...no badge. And still no response to my petition.
I disagree on the Toke Respec, from the way it's written we should be able to sit on that as long as we want. Either way, respec shouldn't affect pilot badges since we don't use skillpoints.
I'm glad to hear a CSR helped someone, maybe there's hope for me yet.

They can, since they ended my respec. And I've seen more posts from people getting their /respec ended by CSR's.

File the ticket, /bug it in game and in the appropriate forum thread (In Live). If you have a regular respec ongoing you won't get the badges until your respec period is over. For those of us the are bugged
I filed 5 tickets, including reporting myself for exploiting (that one got a non cut and paste repsonse)... the CSRs can't fix your respec at all... you just have to come over into the corner with the rest of us and pout
rofl ... I love sending in exploit tickets ... I usually get a cut-n-paste response for those too though.
Never actually sent one reporting myself for exploiting though, I'll have to try that.
Sent plenty in about being harassed by bugs, being offended by the naming policy, being scammed out of a monthly subscription charge, my favorite so far was sending one about the CSR's exploiting the cut-n-paste capabilities .... and of course my reply was a cut-n-paste.
A CSR told me directly in game that the Token Respec was bugged and preventing badges.
I too have not received a pilot badge AND I'm stuck in the Respec loop it seems!
