Once you have mastered a Squadron, how do you choose which chassis is going to be your primary?

is it dependant on mass, style, performance, a combination?

Do you have a Primary, or do you fly a different ship every day of the week?

do you steer clear of any particular ships? if so, why?

I like small interceptors or jack-of-all-trades craft - the X-wing and A-wing fit these roles perfectly.

I steer clear of the ROTW ships for as many tasks as I can these days - since I feel that they cheapen the gaming experience.

Crixx, Xicrx and Crixxorian Darkmoon - Rebellion, Corsec and Imperial Ace Pilots respectively.

When you first start out you tend to enjoy heavier ships with more firepower.. well thats my theory anyway, and as you get more skills ( and better equipment of course ) you start to try out allsorts of diffrent ships..

lately ive been inspired by leaph's A-wing project and some TIEInterceptor builds... then i went and got me the Firespray so now im hooked on that

with ROTW you can have a sh!tload of ships.. get for instance... 1 fast agile fighter, 1 heavy fighter and so on.. eventually you will come to favour some ship and stick to that

Well, i am a pob captain. So mydecimator is thefavourite. I am shreading through vettes with her. She is just awsome. And she is great agains fighters too.

My favourite fighter is myheavy TIE. She is got nice handling, she dont react too much. But not to little either. Just where i want her.

The mass gives some nice options for components, it is just simply my choice of fighter.

for me, in pvp,it is all about the look... everything else can be worked with. For pve Ilike a bit morefirepower, so sometimes I fly an advanced. I stay away from most RoTW ships. I like the looks of the Bel-22 but I don't care much for the feel of it and the JSF plays on my Vader fetish but I still don't like the looks of it. The RGI is bugged but if/when it gets fixed I will probably fly that alot.

lately i have out fitted a Tie/in and have been having a lot of fun in kessel with it chasing down A-wings and blasting gun boats. i will eventualy take to deep space as soon as i solo the corvette with it .

Eh, all looks mostly. That and being unique.

My main ships for my 3 main pilots are B-Wing (secondary Y-Wing LP and ARC), TIE Aggressor (Secondary TIE Interceptor) and Ixiyen (Secondary Rix).

Depends on your needs. For PvP interceptor type ships are the best (a-wing,JSF,TIE interceptor). For PvE generally more firepower is better.

but otherwise high mass, low box, many weapon mounts, fast, wait a tick...
