The hotfix almost works too...
How they hell did they break this anyway? There were no JTL changes in the patch notes, yet they managed to break an entire class of missions. They need to stop dicking around with the code that works.

EXACT same problem with my character imp and freelance were twins! lol cept i kill the escort than it sez to kill the entire squad i do than nuthin happens i end up landing and failing the mission for aborting it
I think someone in Bangladesh is, they submit it to the Devs, who then only look and run a check on the source to make sure it'll WORK, then push it live.
...there aren't many explanations to "HEY, WE FIXED THIS!" "...NO YOU DIDN'T, YOU MADE IT AND OTHER THINGS WORSE!" than the fact that they're NOT playtesting this stuff, they're only making code changes and CALLING them fixes.

Yeah, I'm at the end of tier 3, the Rebel Vortex Mission 3-4.
Simple destroy mission. I go in, I destroy. It says "Mission Successful". Followed directly with "Mission Failed". :-P I want Rebel pilot back before Publish 24 so I can enjoy the new POB stats!

i doubt development is outsourced. bet your bottom dollar QA is though, or at least partially. i also bet QA does a good job of finding bugs, reports them, they get fixed and then QA gets the new files 2 days before it's pushed, and ZERO regression testing is done.
YEP I KNOW..Iv just finished all my tier 2 boxes and am doin the freelancer tier 3 mission.. it only indicates one escort kill but not the other 2 so the mission doesnt finish..iv done it 3 times now and im quite upset
. do u know anything about any possible fixes?

- Fixed an issue that prevented completion of space assassinate missions that require destroying multiple escorts.
- Removed the incorrect description of Anti-Decay Kits which indicated the kit would bio-link upon use.
- Fixed a crash to desktop when using the player light on systems (CNTRL + L) with no hardware shader support.
- Fixed the examine window to not continuously reload badge and biography information when examining a player.
