dock....gotta head to a Lambda and dock to give them the transmission....somewhat of a problem i have fighters coming at me the whole time and i cant kill them fast enough before they spawn...so i usually die here or if i make it past i die at the next part

take out a gunboat...gotta take out a Ye-4 gunboat with about 9 escort fighters....ive gotten here like once and i died cuz the gunboat was coming after me didnt expect it...and i got like half the fighters down and died..

im using a TIE Advanced...level 7 shield like 1250 front and back....crafted..2 weps 1 lvl 7 the other lvl 5 there the green blasters( i like em on TIEs hehe) crafted...i use low armor cuz of mass...reactor is like 12k..looted..engine is 97 top speed YPS like 62...crafted...using WO3 for droid commands....all i have is WO and EO...nething i can do to solo this? dont really want help but i feel im gonna need it....havnt had ne trouble except this mission....thx in advance

Get yourself a v4 Flight Computer. Pick up Reactor Overload 3, Weapon Capacitor Overcharge 3, and Capacitor to Shield Shunt 4. Those programs will all fit in there with EO3 and WO3. CtSS4 is a serious lifesaver.

After that, upgrade your guns. Lose the level 5, and get a level 7 crafted with a quick refire rate. If your other gun has a slow refire, you may want to replace it, too. Try to upgrade your shield as well, but this isn't as important with CtSS4.

Now, when you go up against the gunboat, take down the fighters first. I usually just ran away from the gunboat, and let the fighters get a good lead on it. Turn around, blast the fighters as much as I can, and run away again before the gunboat gets to you. Once you have it down to just you and the gunboat, go into strafing runs on it. Target the engine, and let your blasters fly. Once you can't hit it anymore, hit your booster to minimize damage. CtSS after you get out of range, and wait for your droid to recharge. Then turn around and do it again. It may take a few tries, but you'll get it.

Try this link, it has information about all of the Inquisition missions and some advice on how to do them.

You mightwant to look at the mass on your other parts. When buildinga ship such as the Advanced you should focus on Weapons, Engines and Shields first. You can then use whatever mass you have left for your other parts. For example, to cut down on mass you could try using a lvl 1 reactor, lvl 2 or 3 capacitor and a lvl 2 booster. On the capacitor, if you check the bazarre you might be able to find a level 2 or 3 with 900+ energy 37+ recharge. You should also have no trouble finding a 12000+ energy level 1 reactor. Also, make sure your shields have the lowest mass you can get but still have decent f/b ratings. I am using acrafted 14150 mass shield with 1803 f/b in my A Wing which has almost the same mass constraints as the Advanced. While not recommended by some of the more seasoned pilots, you could alwaysupgrade/downgrade to a Heavy Tie. With 95k mass that ship will let you load just about everything you need to do these missions solo. But if you are bound and determined to do these missions in an Advanced then look at your other parts and shave off as much as you can with your capacitor, reactor, droid interface and booster. I also agree that you need to upgrade your flight computer and chips to include at least CO3, WO3 and CSS4.

noob question...but wats CSS4? shield shunt im guessing....and what does shield shunt do? ...im thinking its the command where it drains capacitor energy to recharge shields?

Capacitor to Shield Shunt 4 and you are correct.

Yes. You might also find bomber strike 2 is your friend on this mission.Pull up to 1000m away from the gunboat and fighters, target the gunboat's engineand hit your bomber strike 2 command. Let the bombers get the shield on gunboat down to about 25% then you can go in under it and blow out the engine. It only takes about 5 minutes for them to get the engine's shield down that low. Once the gunboat is disabled you can pull the fighters off to a safe distance and take them out. Before you do this though make sure you work on your ship'sloadout and droid commands.

As for your loadout, you can easily load two Lvl 7 weapons on your Advanced if you change your other parts around a little.

2Advanced or Lvl 7 Blasters (Totalmass = 30,000)

1 Mark IV Shield (14,500 mass)

Level 6 Engine (10,500 mass)

Mark I Reactor (1200 mass)

Mark III Droid Interface (3300 mass)

Lvl 2 Capacitor (2000 mass)

Lvl 1 booster (1500 mass)

Total mass = 63,000 mass

A Heavy TIE will not cut it with this mission. The single gun slot simply does not put out the damage needed to destroy the gunboat before it despawns. The TIE Advanced is the way to go.

One note, the v4 flight computer doesn't quite have enough room for all four overloads at level 3 plus CtSS4 ... just CtSS3.

Huh? You might want to tell my FC about that. Because I'm running around with a v4 (and a level 4 R2 for when I go back to being a Rebel), and they both hold all four 3s plus CtSS4 quite nicely.

He's only 4443, so he can't use CtSS4. 3 will have to do.
