Im a 2-3-2-2rebel pilot in the vortex squad. I had help getting the one tier 3 box. I still cannot do the next missions.

Im just asking if anyone has soloed this squad. Also I'd like to know if there is a walkthrough of all the missions in the squad.

Thanks

I have solo'd vortex squadron all the way to the master missions. Its actually one of the easier squadrons I have been in. tier 3 and 4 missions only have two phases instead of 3 and there are not many long escorts.

The downside is the missions are not for the Jumpy who are easily intimidated by large numbers of enemies...The missions that stand out are the ones which had three waves of 6 enemy fighters come at you in rapid sucession. The pulse rises a bit when you kill an enemy and it tells you there are another 18 to go.

I avoided ROTW ships in vortex and focused on the old skool rebel fighters. Droid commands are key!!!!!!! I did Smugglers alliance with no droid commands and struggled all the way through. An astrodroid with a cap overcharge, a weapon overcharge and a couple of sheild adjustment programs is your best friend....

i solo'd storm squad from novice to master.... i did however use ROTW ships... i used a heavy tie until 4333 and the a mix of the 22b and a GRI for some of the harder missions. i didnt get a JSV until after master, but i probably could have used used that instead of the RGI. i did have to solo the vet mission (to get teh RGI) in a 22b (personaly i think that mission is harder that the kesel maser mission) so it would not have realy made a diffrence weather i got it or not.

Yeah, I don't use droid commands. I don't really understand them but I guess ill go figure em out.

Also, how many spacebombs can you load at once? I tried loading all the spacebomb packs I had, went up in space and ran out after 3.

I don't really enjoy space but I want the ace helm.

15 charge proton packs work better.

One of the guys who posted above has a link to a really cool Droid command guide....

As a recent convert to Astromech droids I cannot stress enough how much you need a droid....It will really raise your PVE space game.

Since installing a droid I have never drained my cap to empty or took any damage on my armour. Having a droid gives you more control over your shields, weapons, engines and reactor....

Droid programs are a pilot's best friend; check the FAQs. If possible during T4, use a ship with more than one gun. The vette is a bit more tricky for any non-veteran pilot.
