Thread: A JSF with a level 10 engine.

Today I decided to strap a level 10 engine into a JSF (don't flame me, I usually fly a TIE advanced, just used a JSF for testing purposes). The engine had about 84 PYR and 105.6 speed.I was able to fit in addition to the engine:
2 level 7 REed blasters with 3071 max damage
a Mark 3 shield (because you don't get hit much in a JSF)
Micro chaff CMs
Level 3 reactor
Level 2 cap
Level 1 crafted booster
Pre-nerf DI
With EO 3, I hit 1304 top speed, 1613 with booster.
The scary part was that I could make a full 180 degree turn in a bit less than a second. Dogfighting was way too easy.
I think Iam happy enough with my TIE Advanced, at least I feel challanged flying it.
i LOVE it, its all engine and gun with a seatbelt welded on.
EDIT: you NEED to move to EO4

Its worse in some respects ;P
But i fly it because its a TIE, and everyone else reglardless of faction looks the same flying the one damn ship all the time.
I have taken to flying mine with not shields and no armour

Sorry but until they fix the hit box on the Red TIE I won't fight against it! It has about half the hit box of either the JsF and the A-wing. And the A-wing is SOPPOSED to have the SMALLEST hit box. So please break out the JsF and fly it till they fix the red TIE. You can't exclaim your pilotting skills flying it right now! (Ive been stationary and tried to hit the red tie (IT WAS HARD EVEN THEN).

I think your embellishing your emotions a wee bit. While the RGI's hitbox is about the same size or even a hair smaller then a JSF, it is not half the size of the JSF's hitbox. It does however, only cover half of the ball.
And the A wing isn't "sopposed" to be anything.
If you want to pick on ships, pick on ALL of the freaking ROTW ships because each and every one of the turned PvP upside down from how PvP was before ROTW.

See generally speaking, what gets me is this:
Some of the people (no one in specfic, just generally) who complain about the RGI, yet ironically are out spinning around in their JSF. Hoooo kay. Both of ships have skewed balance. Both are guilty, just in different ways, and yes, both are killable. So suppose i leave the RGI in the hanger? Next on my list is an oppressor. I'll bet 10 to 1 odds that after dying multiple deaths, the same people will be here yelling about how it should be nerfed, and how they refuse to fight against them.
You know, I always thought that'd be the way to do the JSF justice. All engine with a bit of firepower. Handling so sharp you need insane reflexes to pilot it. 
Just pray you don't sneeze or you'll break the cockpit window....
