Thread: How many aces do you have? Whats at the end of the 9 aces..........

Well after months of flying and enjoying myself getting mutiple aces I finnally achieved all the different ace badges. And what do ya get Well.....Nothing.
The only perk the Devs put into getting mutiple aces is the master bonus for xp.
2nd ace: x2 xp
3rd ace: x3 xp
4th ace: x3 xp
5th ace: x3 xp
6th ace: x4 xp up to 9th,
Besides having all the badges doingmultiple acesdoesn't really get you anything. I was hoping there would be perk at the end of this long trail but nothing. Not even a new title, (was really hoping to unlock a new ship or something like that) but I had fun doing it my Guildies thought I was crazy totry itbecuase the long grind but after the first it gets easier. My real acomplishment was getting the last ace in 10 hours of play time.
And to clear the record Black Epsilonhas the hardest missions I solo'd most the the other aces, except the vette when doing rebel and neutral missions in kessel. I have set my final ace on Smugglers Alliance for the fact that you can kill almost everything in space 
As wing commander for the Federation on Bloodfin I will continue helping my guildies outwith missions and grinding. I also help others with missions if I am available. Faction doesn't bother me.
Plz post if you have done this as well I would like to hear what you thought of the different missions.
Also if we can convice the Devs to put a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow maybe there will be more pilots in space or something to shoot for, for all the die hard pilots.

You can get the Boltdriver, best gun for the X-wing(especially if you get 2 from imperial squadrons), not to mention all the other loot/rewards spread across the squadrons.

Have to disagree strongly here, as Storm Squadron sets you against forces a Tier higher than you should be facing for the first 2 Tier 3 missions(if you get craft and equipment the first 2, heh).
Black Epsilon I found to be the easiest of the 9(did both BE and Inquisition during 60 consecutive hours)

I'd have to agree that Storm Squadron is the hardest, I've mastered BE, SS, Havoc and RSF and I soloed up to the vette with every one fo them but SS, I couldn't beat the first SS tier 3 mission solo.

I've kept most of my reward parts for RE'ing and putting them on my Krayt or have given them to my guilds pilots and I have the schematic for Firesprays so parts doesn't really hold much for me.
And the Storm Squadron was a very close second for me, do to the higher tier ships and thehour and half missions. I just thought the tier3 mission4 in BE should have been an exit mission for tier 4, hehe.... disable a tier3 Nova, then kill a tier4 Nova and then a tier 4 Gunboat is rough even with bombstrike. I had to call in a few favors from Imperial ace pilots to get that one. CorSec and RSF tier4 exit missions where tough too with the double tier4 gunboats but most of the missions were easy before that.

Idon't think thatthe Corsec one is quite that hard; but yes on RSF, that final bit with the 2 gunboats that're swarming with 8-9 black sun fighters, and all of them staying tightly together,with a fleet of RSF pilots that stand around and do nothing, would definately have to be the hardest exit mission, I think.

Congrats!! Nice work.
Want to try to verify something I have heard....
- The XP bonus. Is it based on the number of factions you have worked for?
IE: Finish 1 in Privateer and get 2X xp, then finish one in Rebel and get 3X xp, after finishing one in Imperial you now get 4X xp.
Jsut want to verify with someone who has his past this mark. I have done 3 on 1 toon (1 of each ) and 2 on another, and I have not repeated a squad on the same toon. Your ace bonus xp seems to support this. Just want to make sure I have my info correct.......

I dont' know about the neutral exit missions being the hardest, if I remember the SS one is killing 2 tier 4 novas a tier 5 nova and about 15 assist ships, took us 6 or 7 masters.

I've only done two so far, BE and CorSec, and asside from the tier four exit mission for CorSec (which is exactly the same as the RSF one described above...think the dev's go a little lazy?) CorSec was a whole lot easier than BE. Heck, I soloed all of BE just fine but on that last CorSec one I've needed help.
And while I haven't done SS myself, alot of people in my former PA were going through SS so I've flown 90% of the missions with them. They aren't really hard, just loooooong. SS, squadron of the never......ending......escorts..

Its possible I didn't go into the imperial mission until later, I went all the Rebel aces, then Neutral except one, then imperial aces,so it could be that you get the x4 xp after the third ace in a different faction.
If it is, I wished I went that way would have been faster if anybody can confrim this it would help other pilots.

Well I'm toying with scrapping Freelance (corsec) here soon and going up the Rebel tree....even though I don't want to give up my Krayt.

!!! I just finished my second ace and this is pretty dissappointing to hear. I was planning on doing this as well and was wondering about a 9 Ace reward or something. I am glad to hear that there is a bonus for each ace badge your recieve and not just one for each faction. I like grinding up the Pilot skills you get a ton of loot once you get to tier 3 that is really good stuff. I hope they start adding more content to this expansion and fix a few of the more serious bugs. (wo3 and MP ships)

Also did all nine, and storm is by far the toughest, and most time consuming.

I am hearing that the opposite is true. Only a bonus for faction, and just 1 for each faction. Still waiting on confirmation from a few that have done "the 9"
