Urgently needs to be nerfed. Why? Because it is insanely unbalanced.
It has more mass than an A-Wing, has a much smaller profile than an A-wing, turns faster than any other ship i know, and also accellerates faster than any other ship i know. Tonight in deep space I came across an enemy pilot in the new FOTM ship, and we went at it. The fight was over relatively quickly, the entire time I was turning as hard as my A-Wing could go, but to no use, he stayed just off of my screen but was able to turn so fast that he could shoot me and continue flying in circles semi-infront of me.
Rinse-Repeat 6 times, same story.
This is rediculous, and needs to be balanced as soon as possible.

You're just mad because a guildie of mine just blew you up.
Your A-Wing was the same thing that you're complaining about before RotW came out.
Deal with it, adapt and fly better.

You're right, I am mad because I died, mad because the entire time his ship was only half-way on the left side of my screen and yet he was still shooting at me while I was turning as fast as my A-Wing could go. I would like to see you go up against a Jedi Starfighter with a ship other than it, you'll lose too, I guarantee it.
As for your remark about me comaplaining about A-Wings.....what?

I was just saying that you are complaining about the same thing that we Imps had to deal with before the RotW ships came out...
The A-Wing was the most superior in turning and speed. We had to adapt and out-maneuver.
Andremember, Isaid.. every time youthink you were getting fired upon by the Jedi Starfighter, you may have actually been receiving fire from the other two people attacking you also.

There were for sure two people there that I know of, they were both FOTM Jedi Starfighters, I never saw a third ship. And believe me, I tried to out maneuver. Its impossible.

Oh, besides the point Id also like to tell you how nice it was when I loaded in the last time and they already had their fire trained on me.

And like I said, do what we as Imps had to do against the A-Wing.... adapt.

Well, I'm hitting the "target enemy player" button every 5 seconds it seems... We were there for the station, not to loadjack.. Sorry you got destroyed.

Adapt...adapt adapt adapt, you must never have fought against a Jedi Starfighter, there is no "adapt", unless of course you mean you want it to stay unbalanced and for no one to pvp in space. I've told you already, my A-Wing couldnt keep up with it, theres no other ship in the Rebel Pilot certification that can keep up with it, and I refuse to get one myself.

The JSF is a wonderful PvE ship. My partner flies with hers almost all the time, and she loves it. I'd be very upset to see it nerfed just because of PvP.

lol - before the new ships, the A-Wing was *almost* just as bad...
I don't know what to tell ya... Oh well.

learn angle of attack, turn ratios, and some circling manuevers. If you know your opponent can get around for a shot if you try to circle-fight him, don't stay in the circle fight. The tricky part is not turning away from him while you can't see him, otherwise he'll come up right behind you. Try some cuts... The point is you have to pull around to get the angle, but you already know if your fighting for opposit angles, the more manuverable craft is going to win. So try different ones.
