Okay, the only point I want to make is that to complain about not being able to solo anything is stupid.

Plain and simple.

In real life, pilots always fly with at least one wing-mate

In star wars, Luke flew as part of Red Team and later Rogue Squadron.

If you don't want to play with other people, pick up a copy of some of the older Star Wars sims. This is a game that's based on playing with other people and cooperating. Stop whining and make friends.

people dont always want to play with other people. some people want alone time. If ya dont like get over it and stop your whining.

Either way your right to a point, if i had to wait for people to get in the mood to group half the time i would have never mastered pilot. I still have to thank kazmo and rootbeir and vizor for their help with my master mission. They are the few that where willing to help on my sever. Oh i was able to solo the pilot profession up till tier 4 mission 4 and vette i needed help with thoose. I know not everyone can do that and it was hard to do with no droid commands because i didnt know how to use them properly.

so i agree and disagree with you. Why would i want to play old games.

edit i had to fix my smily face with tounge out

Because JTL isn't more advanced than X-wing vs. Tie Fighter! And if you really want to fly, X-wing Alliance is a true sim in that sense that is truer to the movies than JTL is.After all, I'm still perturbed that the TIE, TIE/In and TIE interceptor have shields.

And I applaud those who had to drudge it the whole way, but it's still a multi-player game. And I mastered within the first two weeks. No droid commands. And Kessel was still a full PvP zone. No shipwrights really knew what they were doing so I was using all looted parts. It's tough, but then again, I don't believe that everyone needs to be a master.

i agree to a point again.

Ya i have to cheer anyone that can master a pilot profession without useing any kind of droid commands. I made it to tier4 mission1 before someone told me how to use them. I am doing a rebel pilot on another server with commands and i have to say I got to teir4 mission3. the tier4 mission2 was such a pain even with commands anyone that can do it without commands is a god. Help steal a oppressor and escort it home with 5 or 6 waves or tier4 ties that spawn back to back with no breath in between them.

anyways went on a tangent on that sry.

Well... actually imps can solo the stupid rebel corvette, so I can't really say I respect those who can't do it if they are imperial...

ya but with commands and tricks. bstrike is good compared to priate trap the freeelancer have. So i have to say i still repect those that can solo without commands. Becausecommands are what makes and brakes a pilot imo others may say differently but they really do make a difference.

Droid commands have been translated in an interesting way in this game from the movie. I didn't use droid commands to master, but I made great use of the specials. IFF and inspacereload was a godsend.

ya i have to agree even though priate trap is really bad and all it does is call teir1 help it does keep them off your back. The only down side to it is when the enemy is gone they attack you too. Iff is good too. I heard a couple of imps the other day say the it took them 3 bstrike's to kill the vette i dont know how true that is but i am working on a imp on another server to find out how true it is. Yup if your think man another char. yup i am working on 3 chars neutral, rebel and imp so i can try them out. Getting to master is so hard for me i hate to drop it even though you get the xp bouns after mastering a pilot profession. I just like to fly i guess and since i cant keep and fly every ships i have mastered this is my way of dealing with it. Only one of them is my main though he's the one i do ground stuff with.

oopps went off on another tangent sry.

I'm a real rabid rebel too. But in the interests of piloting, I have an imp pilot on another galaxy. I find that the devs have done a nice job balancing the two factions. Though like most things in this game, the imps seem to have a slight advantage.

The neutral ships should be toned down IMO. Since this game IS about Imp versus Reb. The neutrals shouldn't even be afforded the same level of power. But then again, I love shooting down their huge ships. Sometimes I think you can shoot one down blind folded with the huge profiles those things have.

There's also a huge difference in the Imp gunboats and rebel gunboats...

Star Wars Galaxies really captured the elusive Star Wars feeling....with every new publish you instantly think: "I've got a bad feeling about this!"

I've started the process of collecting all 9 pilot Ace badges. I've solo'd every Freelance Pilot mission out there, so far. Pretty soon, I'll be finished with Freelance Pilot and be moving onto Imperial. It's my goal to solo all of the Pilot profs. I think that (with the right equipment), that every mission is able to be completed by a single player without a wingman. It sure does make it a lot easier when you have backup, though.

It's true, every mission of every squadron can be solo'd - Reb, Freelance and Imp. If you have the right equipment, knowledgeand technique it's not even very hard. I should know, I've walked this path already and it was a blast

I work to solo it out of, I dunno, pride? I got help on two missions my first ace, and that's the last help I'll be receiving while I master my other 5 (not going to dirty myself with a rebel ship).
