I believe there are more ships to be added before the release, like the miner ship that its supposed to have.
My guess is that the arc is gonna one of the big 3, replacing eather the nova/deci/yt, my guess is they are gonna make the yt universal , just like they did to the firespay, and give the arc to the privateers. Maybe and maybe not, its just a guess, no need to flame me, lol.
I also fear that unless your a jedi , you cannot fly the Jedi Starfighter, once again there accomodating to ol' big heads.

It really wouldn't make sense for the Alliance or the Empire to fly any of those ships, so if they are not privateer ships I will be really irritated. Trust me, I would love to try out the ARC 170 especially, that ship looks really cool, but it would not make Star Wars sense.

It will make starwars sense after episode III.... the arc is in there being flown by clone troopers. so that's basically the empire

From the looks of that page, it looks like the nuetrals get the Arc, Jedi II, and the Greivous Fighters. The Imperials and rebels only get modified versions of theircraft. That Arc looks pretty cool, 2 rear turrets. I hope I don't have to go up against them in PvE, the aggi's are bad enough.I'm kind of bummed about only the neutrals getting the EP3 stuff, I suppose it fits with the role of the rebels and Imperials, but, I was still hoping. All well.

gotta stick with the story line... I'd kind of like to see the neutral fighters get opened up to imperials and rebels, as well as the rebel fighters being opened up to the neutrals, but imperial fighters need to stay just that, imperial.
the price we pay to keep with the storyline? (yes, that was a joke)

I have to confess that I'd rather see the TIE Avenger (the TIE Advanced in TIE Fighter, XvT and XWA) than that lumpy TA we're getting, but that's purely a matter of taste.Actually, I'd like to see the Defender and the Assault Gunboat as well, but if they were ever put in properly, the Rebels wouldbe screaming...

I think this is how it works out:
Imperials
New designs-red guard etc
Jedi fighter-ETA-2 actis intercepter- look at the wings....imperial tie figther wing design or look inside and it was lord vader
Rebels
New designs
ARC-170-Looks like a rebel ship
Neutrals
New designs-....maybe but doesnt seem to be listed
Already got a new ship a few patches ago-Multi passenger ship
Bebullab-22-looks neutral
Other way:
All ships can be used by all players like the firespray
Other way:
Jedis can only use the jedi fighter and the rest can be used for all players

it does not explicitly say that the ARC, jedi and Greivous fighters are going to the privateers. It does however have rebel/imperial insignia in the pictures of the "modified" ships. So I would say your guess is correct, but still a guess

If there were Privateer symbols on the images, I'd agree. As it is, I make no judgements until the RotW closed beta starts.

OMG, a modified X-wing with higher mass. I want this, please, now
Well, the only slight problem I found with an X-wing was its mass. If only it could be 20%-50% mass increase, I would love even more my ship.

If the xwing has such a huge increase in mass, wont it handle like the bwing? Doh!
