Thread: FORCE SENSITIVE CONVERSION RATE

I don't get it... One hour of gameplay is one hour of gameplay. Just adjust the conversion ratio as necessary.

Here's a very simple scenario:

I can grind n amount of Pistol XP in one hour and convert it at a ratio of oto give mep FS XP per hour.

Therefore it should only make sense that

I can grind b amount of Prestige in one hourand convert it at a ratio of c to give me d FS XP per hour.

As long as p = d then everything should be O.K. no?

i guess the problem is you cant get ganked in space by a bountyhunter... though that would be VERY cool if you could.

You can't get ganked on the ground by a bounty hunter either.

Force Sensitive conversion has nothing to do with Bounty Hunters.

I wish they would implement this, because I find space fun.

Exactly. So lets keep it fun. And keep Jedi, and everything to do with Jedi, completely out of space.

Here here.

Space is now the only place where being a Jedi is worth bugger all except maybe the cantinas.

Bieng a jedi wont ever help in space. All I know is I have millions of starship combat xp and prestige xp and nothing to do with it.

Well, I could go to deep space 1200 times, but meh.. after the first 419 that would get boring.

and also, to get FSXP on the ground you need 1) master crafting or combat profession, 2) grinding resources for crafters, which gate your progress, or for combat a bunch of goods and services from other PCs like A/W-smiths, docs, chefs, ents. In space, all you need is a chassis and you can do the rest yourself with loot. SOE, although they generally muck it up, does usually tend to encourage interdependence of players.

Would be nice to be able to get FS XP from pilot XP, grinding in space is a lot more fun then the ground, better explosions in space.

I'd say it'll never happen - but if it would make people shill an extra 29.99 I wouldn't be surprised if SOE caved.

Still... Nobody has explained the difference. One hour of play is one hour of play. The FS grind is just a time-sink to discourage people from becoming Jedi. What's the difference if I spend an hour blowing up B-Wings in space or spend an hour punching dogs on Dant?

I also have millions of Prestige points and nothing to do with them... Let me rephrase that. I also have millions of Presige points from playing the game for hours and hours and nothing to do with them. This only makes sense to me...
