Here we go...

The Rebel Space Station in Deep Space is STILL invulnerable ever since the launch of ROTW.

The Star Destroyer goes down faster than a vietnamese.... nevermind. Point being the ISD gets lit up every 30 minutes or so but us Imperials do not have the option of blowing the Rebel Station at all.

You can cycle through the components on the station but no hitboxes appear. You cannot hit the components with missles, blasters, or kamikaze tactics. It's great that we'll be able to move furniture around the inside of our Y8's and they'll have 2 more turrets... but how about fixing the content as well.

Or has this issue just been considered "unimportant". I doubt it's because of the new expansion (since it's been borked ever since the last expansion went live).

I've posted about this a few times. I know Tomo is aware. He assured us he would bring it up to the Dev's (I believe he has, Tomo is a good guy and tends to do what he says he will.).

I have started numerous threads on this in the past and it seems to have been ignored by the Dev's. I don't mind that the ISD gets blasted nearly hourly. No sweat off my brow. On the otherhand I'd love to be able to at least try to take out the Reb station.

FYI, Imperial or Imperial aligned Nuetrals... go to Deep Space. Target the Rebel Station and cycle through the components. You can select the Shields/secondary shields but you will not see a yellow box around them. Thus you cannot hit them with blasters or missles (you do not get a lock). I have gone as far as to get within 5m of the station and still have done no damage.

I don't buy into any conspiracy that this is because Dev's are Reb lovers. This is the same bug that affected the corvettes after ROTW launched. (In case you don't remember vette components were untargettable thus pilots were very upset. The issue was fixed pretty quick on Vette's and the ISD but the Reb Station was ignored or accidentally overlooked.)

So I am here asking again that we a s pilots ask that the Dev's fix this issue and that it is no longer swept under the rug and forgotten.

Seriously, its long overdue for a fix.

Bah, if I wanna lag stuff, I just point both guns at the ISD and fire. Create my own slide show without the ISD firing back.

Would be nice to have the station fixed though, every new Ace should have a chance to take it out.

As a Rebel: Oh, darn....!

As a fellow pilot, I agree that it's shameful that the station is bugged to invulnerability. Imperials SHOULD have the opportunity to blow the station to Kingdom Come. As it stands right now, the Imps have nothing to really accomplish in DS except hope that a Reb comes in to blow up the ISD (or just look for general PvP in the region). It's not right that the Empire be stymied in its continuing goals of galactic tyranny by a space station that just won't get hurt no matter what they do.

And as an added bonus, it means that just maybe there won't be so many Imperials lurking around the ISD when the Rebs show up to blow it to bits again!

Just out of curiosity on whether this is connected to Kessel spawns, you might ask if this is specifically connected to the Kessel Spawn Switch(KSS)(which is looking more and more likely, considering I haven't seen it since a month or 2 before the CU, and not since, during which time the Rebel Station has been invulnerable); and if it's not, whether that's broken, or what is supposed to trigger it(because I'm tired of trying to find out on my own, lol).

I find that the hitboxes DO appear, just not for the shield and secondary.

That bug has annoyed me every since i got ace

altho it sometimes is fun just to boost around it, evading the blaster fire(it really does suck at shooting)

You imperials keep thinking that's a bug.

It's not.

The rebel station in Deep Space contracted with Daxx Industries for the latest in defense shield technology. We provided them with a hybrid Cloaking-Poof-O-Shield. It's the latest from the Advanced Shield Technology division at Daxx Industries.

The shield basically absorbs blaster fire and funnels it into the station's power supply. Excess power is shed through the gun emplacements. That's why you figure blasters or missiles aren't doing any damage. Technically, they are, although we add it to our power. Thank you very much. Our power bill last month was almost zero.

You think the subsystems aren't targeting because of a bug? Not so. It's the latest in quasi-cloaking technology from the Advanced Cloaking Division of Daxx Industries. You can't target the subsystems because your targeting scanner's energy is being absorbed and added to our power cells. Targeting scans are currently powering most of the lights in our Disco. The two people still using the Disco send their thanks.

Coming out soon is our Magneto-Tractor-Shielding technology, direct from the Advanced Magneto Division of Daxx Industries. Once installed, any Imperial ships coming within 200m of the station will be Magneto-Tractored to the station itself, where the ship's subatomic structure will be fused to the station, thereby assimilating Imperial ships into its structure and growing the station. We may, from time to time, issuea request for specific types of Imperial ships to attack the station, based on current needs for expansion. Please stay tuned and follow your given vectors closely.

Last but not least, we are currently installing the new Broadband-Epulse-Repulsor-System into the Rebel Station. From the inventors of the famous Epulse technology, the Advanced Killbutton Division of Daxx Industries is proud to announce its station-sized Epulse technology. Guaranteed to fry any electronics or avionics to a distance of 720m from the station, this system will be sure to impress Imperials with its sheer genius in design.

So, stop reporting these supposed "bugs" and start recognizing the technology genius of Daxx Industries, the most trusted name in the Galaxy.

Well, then I suppose it's time to unveil Plan B: a Decimator stuffed to the gills with ewoks. Your precious Freedom Station's dead in the water.

Has anyone tried sidling up to Freedom Station and epulsing the unhittable components?
