Just curious if anyone used it (yes there are better alternatives but I have a soft spot for this one growing up play TIE fighter, despite they dont look the same)

If so, what parts are you using for it?

yes.

MK 1 Reactor, L2 Re'd cap, L1 prenerf DI, L6 RE'd engine, MK II booster, MK I armor, MK IV shield, chaff, and two L7 RE'd bolt drivers.

Still have a wee bit of mass and reactor output to spare too.

NICE loadout there Ducimus! I gotta see that thing! Give me a day or two to finish Smuggler, and I'm gonna outfit my B-22 for some l00t-wh0ring

. I'm gonna ditch the B-22 for a TIE Interceptor when I've got enough good RE'd parts to fit its 49k, because I LOVE it.I don't know if I could make that WORK, but we'll see. It's possible I'll be cramming parts into an Advance for lack of mass on the Interceptor.

I'm also thinking about using my Heavy TIE again, because I want to fly a classic TIE Fighter, but the originals are just too low on mass.

Yeah i love my T/A, im sure you'll see it soon enough. Back on bria when helping with missions (and outkilling the whole group) i acutally had a guy in a JSF ask me how much mass a T/A has! I'd call that a compliment. ;P

As for the T/I, i love that ship. It used to be my primary PvP ship before ROTW. I ran an prenerf L6 engine, REd L7 boltdriver and i think a MK III shield w/ MK I armor, and a MK II reactor That baby screamed w/ EO4. I might try and refit one with an L8 engine sans shield. Highly suicidal, but i need to challenge myself. I think it would be self imposed karmatic justice for having used an RGI as much as i have in the recent past

I love my T/A too. I got:

REd QID with 106.2 top speed

Two RE level 7 bolt drivers

Crafted Mk3 shield

Level 3 reactor

Level 2 cap

Level 2 booster

Level 1 prenerf DI

Very nice ship overall.

Oh BTW buzzbot, are we the "6th[fighter]wing" or the "Imperial 6th fleet"?
I wanna make sure i got the name right before i add it to my sig, and i havent seen a standardized name yet. You use wing, and someone else uses fleet.

well its 0 mass and makes it look slightly more funky, i just mined the res for it and my sw made it for free, they are cheap anyways, or should be

Good to know others are using this ship, since its a secondary ship I use to help others with lower level missions Ive built mine out of loot, no RE or Crafted parts but Im going to slowly start investing in some new kit based on some of these loadouts

The TIE/Adv. is my primary ship, and I see no reason to ever switch to the Oppressor or RotW ships unless I just want to havea little fun. Don't get me wrong, I have the JSF and the RGI and all that, but they're collecting dust really.
