Thread: How quick is it grinding a second pilot mastery?

Ive heard the xp is faster doing a second pilot mastery if so anyone can tell me how much?

Not long at all im currently on my Freelance Ace mission, I was a Imperial Ace a week ago, had to grind reb FP from -5000 to 0 as well lol.

It should only take you week even if you are just a casual gamer. A couple things to remeber. 1. You are getting double the XP. 2. You are past the learning curve and already know effective ways to kill the enemies.

The second ace was quick, and so far after about three hours into my 3rd Ace I am 2222. So it gets quicker as you go. Fun to get all the rewards all over again as well. I am doing Imperial this time, and so far so good. If you are into RP, the Imperial Inquisition is a pretty fun story so far. Plus you get to see Vader and the Emperor. (Who by the way have really cheesy lines.)

I went up in a Nova last night and with one gunboatI got like 30k. Very sweet.

as long as u watch the exp cap at whatever teir u r on ride shotgun in somones 2 seater in kessle or something lol its gross.

the missions themselves take longer than the xp grind on your 2nd master. i doubt i could do a 3rd faster than my second. btw it took me a week with about 2 hrs a day gameplay.

The only thing that takes time is the missions themselves. So, I just started my second Ace on friday, in about 5 hours I was 3,2,2,2 Imperial Inquisition. About 2-3 hours more I am now 3,3,3,2 Imp Inq. I figure I sjhould be able to Ace by late monday night or tuesday around dinner time.
Second Ace is a lot easier, that exp bonus does help a lot. Also already having all the components you need as well as deeded ships you can reuse, not a bad way to farm loot to Re.

Okay, I'm new at the high level pilot mastery stuff.
How do you master pilot of a different faction without giving up the basics of the first piloting skills?

You have to give it all up, as if starting fresh again. You lose any banked Prestige or Starship combat Exp. The you have to go start up with your next squadron, go through the mission tier 1 - Ace just like when you first started. Except, you get a bonus multiplier for recieving Ace before. So on your second squadron you get a x2 on your Exp, Third Squadron x3, I think it maxxes out at x4 though.

Hey Vegitta,
I just did the Imperial INquisition Ace and was wondering if you had gone through the Tier 4 yet? I din't have to do any tier 4 missions. Well, I did, but it was just patrolling 4 waypoints in space. No fights even. It was awesome.

LMAO!! I was wondering about that too! LOL! I'm 4,4,4,3 currently (took about 18 hours total in-game time I figure).
I'll get off work, take an hour or so to grind out that last 1 million. So yeah, first 3 Tier 4 missions were 3 waypoints, mission complete. No fighters or escorts.. although there is some poor YT-1300 "Crystal Smuggler" that I get to kill seconds after the "Mission Successful".
Meh, Ace by tonight!
