The beauty of JTL: It's a matter of personal tactics and skill. People are flying slow B-Wings and doing really well while 90% of the pilots hates the thing.

firespray: server dependent, 5-12 mil

depends on personal preference.

since the oppressor is way cheaper i would tend to the op.

the firespray is more a show of ship.

worse handling, bigger hitbox, more mass.


when you like fast ships the TIE/Adv would be an option as well.

I prefer the Oppressor. I tried a Firespray twice, but just don't like the gun placement and couldn't get used to it. Don't get me wrong, the spray is a nice ship without a doubt, but IMO, its best for rebels who don't have anything between the X wing and B wing (for those who don't like the sluggishness of the B wing, but want more mass than anX wing). But if you can afford a spray, I say try them both. Only way you'll know for sure which you like best.

Love my Firespray... Love my Oppresoor.


Personally my Fav is the Friespray (209k mass on mine)

I like the oppressor but since getting used to the gun placement on the Firespray I can't stand having guns under my chin like the oppie.


Both are expensive (Firespray is around 3.5-6 million on Ahazi) Oppresor around 1 million or so. Honestly, they both rule.

I like them both, but prefer the Opressor just a little more. If the gun placement on the FS was a little closer together, I'd chaneg my mind.


The only thing i hate about the Firespray is flying wingman to one. Ever try shooting the same target while you're behind a Firespray?? It's like trying to watch a movie and the guy sitting in front of you is wearing a 10-gallon hat.

It's true. A few of us were working on the 30 ship mission in Kessel, and I kept getting in the way and grabbing the kill. I have to think I got half or more of the ships.

The Firespray, in my opinion, is currently a trophy. It is just too big for me to fly effectively. I love my krayt, and that is about as big as I'll go. I would probably stick with the Tie Advanced or MAYBE do the opressor for capital ship runs. In PvP I think the Interceptor would be one of the best ships. On Test Center when I get master Imp Pilot my ship load out will be:

1. Tie Interceptor
2. Tie Advanced
3. Tie Opressor (I want a high firepower ship)

not realy, with only 2 guns, its useless. and the extra 70 mass, while lettign you use ordinance, is not enough to add really good components.


I like my KSE. i am gettgin reaquanted with it now, after getting me second mastery, but i have a lvl 10, 94 speed, 83 pyr engine in it. i am very manouverable. 2 guns IS a big downside, but when you can have a veryhigh energy cap for those CTS4, with good armor etc, its nice.


can anyone who flies the KSE, expalin what they mean by the catch-phrase "getting used to the gun placement" .
