Yeah it's currently bugged and we've all been complaining about it for awhile. No fix as of yet, but hopefully soon.

IIn the middle of the mining quest for the y8 and stuck at the escort the y8's throug kash space. The mission wp won't spawn for me. I've seen some past posts about this but no answers. Anyone have any ideas how to get by this? I've tried everything I can think of. I do not have any other active missions and have hypered all over the place both in and out of system. Ive also aborted and retaken mission as well as relogging etc to no avail. Thanks for any help!

As of 4 Sept 05 the quest is still bugged and SOE has not as yet posted a responce or told anyone that it is fixed. I tried recently and go figure - same bug. Don't think it it will be fixed soon.

This is the worst bug ever because it prevents you from taking other space quest on the ground. I've been stuck at 3333 ever since I hit the bug myself. The next patch includes a fix.

if you are stuck on 3333, then drop the Y8 mission and go on. You can allways go back to it later

Why don't you just drop the Y-8 escort mission? You will be able to get it again from the quest giver. I am not sure how it is that you are stuck at 3333 because of it. DidI miss something?

You can't drop the Y8 mission. I've tried both from the quest panel and from the guy who gave it. That is why this bug sucks.

In fact, I got a crap load of non-space missions that I can't drop either. They just sit there.
