Thread: Apparently I'm an exploiter...

Whoa. I can't hit you man. You must be exploiting![]()
Exactly the point. The attitude is almost the same as the majority of the jedi profession's attitude.
Nevermind that the Actis is small and hard to hit either
EDIT:

It could be there is a new exploit that some of them know about that the rest of us don't either. Im fairly certain that many exploits discovered, probably orginate from starsider or at least, spread by way of alternate characters from information gleaned elsewhere.

What about the weapon overload 3 exploit?
I am a sploiter!

Since you say there was a lack of vets there, i want to chaulk that up to ignorance on the part of the opposition. Theres always many factors at work in space, least of which is hit detecton, and net lag. I still hold to the unsubsantiated theory that the speeds at which we travel these days, can play hell with the netcode.
Nevermind that the Actis is small and hard to hit eitherA total rookie in one, can take a few mins to hit by virtue of its small frame.

There were actually a few vets there. One was the imp coordinator who also accused me of exploiting.

Just because everyone uses it, does not mean it is not an exploit. lol.

I would refer to it as a bug more than an exploit... Generally with an exploit you need to do something special to get it to work. With weapon overload 3 you kind of just hit the button like with any other droid program but it doesn't work as intended.
yarr
but by definition, an exploit is the use of a bug to gain an advantage ![]()
Alright, I'll bite. I couldn't find my PVP Engine in time for the debriefing, so I had to fall back on a crafted Mk5 engine (running EO4, top speed of 1614, no booster). If you were, indeed, travelling at your top speed of 1193(WHILE maneuvering at the impressive rate you were), I should have been able to matchspeed on you, correct? Inconsistent with my experience during most of the battle. One moment, you'rereported as directly in front of me. The next, you're reported as 700m behind me. Later on, you appeared to slow to more "normal" speeds where I was able to matchspeed.
Then I remember this post, and start to wonder. Either way, we had at least two people with higher speeds than your posted speed who could not matchspeed with you while you were doing seemingly impossible maneuvers. Multiple people stated that you, and only you, had shown similar maneuverability in previous events.
Network glitch? Very possible. Exploiting a bug? Who knows? Though your posting history does indicate you have a somewhat intimate knowledge of exploitable bugs. Either way, your engine stats (I believe Resha said you claimed it was a RE'd Starmap Engine, 80 PYR?) are very similar to my PVP engine, and people have never seenanywhere near themaneuverability out of me. But I'll reserve my judgement, since I don't want to inflame this thread with meaningless finger pointing and conjecture.
Yes, I was there when Gwreng flew using the speed racer engine. yes I have flown against you before.
however, I have only on one previous occasion encountered any craft displaying the erratic jumping that you did tonight. yes, that would be the speed racer X.
I will not fly against you, ever again.
Jumpy behavior comes from lag. HOLY SH!T its a fricken Jihad!
If I cannot beat them, I'll accuse them of exploiting!
