yep. jedi starfighter is fun. until now imps had nothing as fun as an a-wing. now we get the actis... nerf cries.
I really don't understand the mentality. I was having fun with PVE for once instead of my sluggish oppressor which has significantly more mass and firepower.. now come the nerf cries
/sigh back to using my ship for cheap transportation again i guess
No one has any problems with Imperials haveing the Jedi Starfighter, the problem is that it's the single best ship (high mass, extremely good handling and the smallest profile of any ships making it the hardest one to hit)in the game and it's ONLY available to Imperials because someone screwed up and certain parts of the mission require you to be imperial.
We don't begrudge you the ability to fly good ships, not that I understand where you think you don't have any good ships, but most of them are lower mass
Any of you can do it. Heck, get a smuggler to sell you some FPS and you can do it easy and fast. It'll just cost ya'.

that only works if your a corsec pilot, otherwise when you drop faction you lose all of your pilot skills as well lol.

The primary problem with *some* of these new ships is they offset the balance in PvP.
PvE, admitidly it doesnt make a big difference although it stands to trivialize what is already trivial content.
Most people won't see the problem in these new ships. However, im going to go out on a limb and say theres a large group of us who've made pilot our primary profession (not just a diversion or travel button), and we're into this game ALOT more then your average player. So the inconsistances in some of these new ships stands out really bad.
If you havent spent much time in space, tinkering with ships, or Pvping, you probably wont understand the issues at hand with these ships.
This isn't a rebels crying to get imps nerfed or vice versa thing. This is NOT an US vs THEM thing.
The main problem with the JSF/Grievous/and yes even the ARC-170 is the fact that the YPR is set extremely high in comparison to the other ships available with similair mass. Thats what the problem is.
Even the new "heavy" ships are to the extremes. The numbers are simply way off. Basically this means that either you fly one of these new ships or you get totally owned in PvP. I hate NERF's, despise them. Everytime a Dev nerf'ed something it became useless.
On the otherhand, the threads you're referring to are not crying for a nerf, they are crying for balance. Believe me, I LOVE my JSF. I wouldn't change a thing. But if we don't give the Dev's better numbers they'll just NERF it into uselessness.
I agree, I hate NERF cries. But in this case, it serves us better to bring these ships into balance. Just because I fly a JSF shouldn't mean that I win hands down everytime before you even know I'm there.
Ask the Rebels I took out last night, I was flying around this guys AWing like he was standing still. Thats a bit too high on the scale if you ask me. I want a challenge not an "I Win" button.
