Thread: OMG IM SO CRAPPED OFF

I was doing Tier 3, mission 1 storm squadron. Got all the way to delivering that dang thing then all of a sudden 60000000 freaking a wings come out. I spent 3 hours for nothing. My god I quit.

Is that all? Usually its about 6000000000 a-wings...hmmm maybe a new bug

It's a long mission, and most of Storm Squadron is like this. I think if you'd do a little searching before posting you'd find that alot of pilots complain about this. If you want a slightly easier (if not shorter) mission then join one of the other 2 imperial squadrons. Or perhaps you should look into upgrading your ship. It's a long mission, but I was able to solo it in about 30 - 45 minutes in my TIE/In. At the very least I'd give it another try before throwing in the towel.

Of crouse, its really helpful to post a "cry for me", instead asking people how to help you get past it.

Ok Ok, before people start throwing punches, perhaps we should try to work out what the problem is here.
First of all what kind of problems are you having here? Do you think that you're just not able to destroy the a-wings fast enough before they gang up on you? Are you having problems manuvering fast enough to keep up with the a-wings?
One thing I noted while doing this mission is that at most I had about 8-10 a-wings to take out at any given time while I was escorting the first transport, and then later on when I was capturing the second transport. If I kept myself moving long enough then I stayed alive just by being hard to hit. Perhaps you should try a different strategy. If you're following a target and getting hit alot just switch to another target. Perhaps you need to change your ships configuration around a bit to see what helps you stay alive longer, or take out the enemy faster.
Either way, without describing your ship or the specific problems your having, you make it difficult for other people to help you. As I stated before: This is a tough squadron, but it can be done even by yourself. You have to be willing to do whatever it takes to win, and that includes giving us the information we need to help you.

aye....it's tough to solo but it can be done.
The part you're up to is the part where Awings just keep spawning until you finish docking with the transport. The transport only appears when you reach the waypoint, but the Awings just keep comin.
Engine overload 3, an engine with 62+ top speed and boosters with 25+ top speed will see ya outrun the buggers.
The mission ends when you finish docking, so you can happily die after that.

There is one Freelance Tier 3 mission (smugglers alliance) with an near infinite number of enemies.
U have to deliver Jabbas gifts to some Imperial shuttles. When u get to one of the Shuttles pirates show up. On my first try i destroyed wave after wave - but there seemed to be no end. I finaly had to make an insystem hyperjump to avoid destruction. On my way back i noticed that i had drawn the pirates some way off the shuttle - so i flew to the shuttle and docked and fullfilled this part of the mission.
I tried this tactic with my char on another server (draw the first wave away then hyperjump and return) and needed just 5 mins for this part of the mission.

Spawns on delivery mission stop as soon as you dock. If you don't dockthey will continue till the timelimit runs out, useful if you need xp.
Tactic: Fly to the waypoint, boost to it on the first spawn (usually 1500k away). Target nearest friendly as it hypers in when you reach the waypoint, dock. CtSS if necessary, shoot the 3 to 8fighters or IFF(freelancer/rebel option only)and return to base or continue with next part of mission. Don't fly hard, fly smart.
