Thread: Impossible to get all 3 ship badges?

Am I correct in understanding that it is currently impossible to get all 3 badges for the special ships (Heavy X-wing, Vaksai and Imperial Guard TIE Interceptor) even if you change factions on the ground?

you dont need them, i have the heavy x and a vakisi, i have flown the x and im working on privateer to fly the vak, i dont have either badge

Hmm. good question. I think the only way possible is to be a Corsec pilot. DON'T ever change squadrons while doing the quests. And go from one faction to the other. But I think there's a flag that is set when Emya tells you to go to one faction station or the other.
My guess would be Yes, it is impossible to get all three ship badges.

You don't understand... .I WANT the BADGES... even more than I want the ships. Already got 2, but don't think it's possible to get the 3rd badge...

It is not currently possible. When you drop a faction to join another squadron and reset the quest, you will find yourself bugged in a loop between Kash station and Emya.

But if he's already freelance, he wouldn't have to drop the squad, just faction.
Seriously though I think there's a flag set when you get either the X-wing or TIE quest

I didn't mean droping squadrons... I am CorSec, I can attack either Rebs or Imperials in space. Therefore, if I switch factions on the ground, then I can take Imperial or Rebel missions as the case may be.

Seriously, why does everybody think that only guys can be good pilots? As if it wasn't bad enough with SOE not giving Ace badges to female toons...

I think it has more to do with the fact that most of us have been conditioned to assume that everyone is male as the majority of the population in game is.
