Just curious, but how many BS did you kill before you nabbed one?
I'm extremely unlucky it seems.

lol I lost count at 3k last week.
Keep in mind there are 9 of us with this as our sole focus for at least 3 hours a night. Talk about rare this is strange.

i wonder if maybe the drop is triggered when you use a missile on it? going to test this theory

Oddly enough, I looted one with my first kill with my new Oppressor. Before that, I had killed thousands with my Advanced.

I probably killed 200+ at the Endor static spawn, then started running RSF destroy duty missions and looted the helmet during the 4th mission, from a Fighter.

Has anyone gotten one within the last few days? I heard the drop was frozen because they were only supposed to drop from Aces, not any tier 4 or 5 dudes. So to my information (and experience, I was up to about 1200 kills since my first and only helmet before I learned about this), they aren't dropping at all right now, and it might be wise to hold off on hunting for a while.
This does mean that they'll sell for a bundle right now, though. Did I say a bundle? I meant a load so heavy even Rudolph himself would break his reindeer back if he tried to carry it all.

I doubt it. There only for show. RIS and Mando armor are showy also...but atleast they have their uses. My Blacksun Helmet is only part of my outfit, not anything else though.

My bf got one of the helmets today...we were working on his 4th tier four mission and didn't even realize he had it. A few hours later, we were checking his inventory for something, and I was like...wait a second! Since people seem interested, I think we were in the Yavin system, but this definately seems to be just random chance. Good luck to all the seekers out there.

it should only be on Black Sun Aces, if not, then bad design decision. Of course, I'm not going to complain if I loot one off of a tier 4 regular Black Sun.
