make spin attacks into targeted attacks?
spin1 = area action bleed
spin2 = area action hit
would probably need to move spin1 into the pike tree (novice maby) and give polearms4 a difrent aoe
i like the area attacks as is

That's the question I've had for a while. Everyone says they are useless yet...I generally apply mine when they are KD and I seem to get around 1600 combined. Am I just completely seeing things or am I just off my rocker? Sorry for the side post!

I'm going to have to agree with this. Area bleeds (or all bleeds in general now) are useless. There is no need for them whatsoever.
Add stun to Spin attack 2 and make Area hit 2 an area leg hit.
Personally, against all NPC mobs I go with Area Attack, then area Knockdown (I love seeing them flop like fish). From there, I switch to area attack with my PH, and can pretty much take down anything then.....
On a separate note, does anyone have any luck getting the status effects on NIghtsisters? I've decided that in order to be effective in PVP, I need to start looting them to get the good DOT lances and such. I would love to get the Energy Lance, but that is just a waste of time, the schematic never drops.....
If there was one thing I would want for that it would be to have that schematic easier to get....

Spin2 really has no advantage I can see. Making it an area leghit would be reasonable. Giving it a different state effect (probably not going to happen) or making it a much higher efficacy for dizzy than area2 might also make it more desirable to use. Or just up the damage to a 3.5x modifier, obviously while moving PH3 to a 4x as well.
As for NS and state effects: I can't recall ever stunning one, but I've dizzied most of them at one time or another. It just gets harder and harder to get it to stick on the tougher ones, and when you manage to dizzy something like a spellweaver you probably won't manage to knock her down before it wears off anyway.
