what creatures are good to solo with pistoleer 0-0-2-0 and smuggler 0-0-1-0? i have been killing leviasqualls all this time and im a little bored of them, is there anything more i can solo with just this skills, that give good exp and that dont kill me? i was thinking about gettin a good DX2 and bleed/feign some rancors but i think i will be killed before trying to bleed them. if there is any creature that i can kill with these skills, solo, and that give more than 2k of exp tell me plz.

Thx in advancement

You might try Torturs on Talus and the various types of Tortons on Rori. The Ravenous Tortons have about 10,000 ham, and will probably give you close to 4k xp per kill. They are aggressive, socialcreatures and are hard to kite but if you are bleeding a feigning death you should be able to slowly take out a pack of them. I usually get 50m or more away and Health Shot 2, Health Shot 1, Peace, run about 75 - 90m away and let the one come to you. I don't have any Smuggler skills.

If you have any scout - the method of -maskscent, bleed shot, peace, move out of area -works on torturs on Talus. The affected tortur aggros on you once he starts to bleed, but does not BAF most of the time.

I have been soloing lairs of these, but as a Master Ranger/Master Pistoleer, between my traps and my pistols, it's rather easy to do. 6k per mission is not bad for a solo either.

Good Luck

Get doc buffs and some muon gold, go to Dathomir and do baz nitch missions (not giant baz nitch - yet). They have about 5k HAM, low resists, fairly low damage, gives about 3,5k xp if you team with a pet (a mount i.e.).

JB's method works great on the Tortons of Rori. I was able to clear out the Pygmy Torton cave there with my 0-0-1-0 Pistoleer skills and Scouting/Exploration 4. Seems like MaskScent is pretty crucial to this strategy, though. Making my way down the cave, my maskscent wore off for a second, and the cave was suddenly a much scarier place.

ok, this is probably a silly question, but what are the practical benefits of muon gold for a pistoleer (what does it allow you to do?). It effects the mind pool right?

I've recently started using tattoine sunburns to allow me to spam stopping shot which is nice but i'm not sure if it's cost effective yet. am wondering what muon gold would allow me to do since i've seen a lot of people asking for it lately.

Not sure what Sunburns do, but Muon is a mind enhancing Spice favored by rifleman, image designers, and medics. I don't think it would benefit a Pistoleer much unless you were PvPing and needed a mind boost to ward off Eye Shots or Mind Shots.

Pistoleer would benefit more from an Action spice. Snaproll has put together a nice guide to spices which is stickied to the top of the Smuggler forum and contains details on all spices, such as what they enhance and how long they last.

Does anyone have cords on the Torton Cave on Rori or is it a POI waypoint?

Spices suck...too costly and bad side-effects which causes down-time. Use food buffs!

If you grab Warning Shot in the Marksman line, you can solo any creature on any of the starting planets (except maybe Tat, natch).

Bleed1, Bleed 2, Warning Shot, BS2, Warning Shot, BS2, Warning Shot, BS2, Warning Shot...etc.

If you can Mask Scent as well, your very nearly untouchable.

I solo on Dantooine all the time with no problems. Currently 1/0/3/3 Pistoleer. I wear a full suit of encumbrance sliced Composite with 60% Kinetic resits. I have novice medic too. Usually use either my DX2 or my FWG5 pistol with a power-up. Until I got PMD1 and double tap I would pull a Savage Quenker with Health Shot 2 and 1 to stack the bleeds, would usually see a total bleed around 1400 then just autofire till dead. Now that I have PMD1 and Stopping shot I can usually kill a Savage Quenker in about 6 - 7 Seconds. Pull with the Bleeds, once they get close PMD1 Stopping shot x2. Generally hit for 1600 - 2700 when they are KDd and the first tick of the bleeds hit em while they down. They usually don't get back up.
