As far as I know, no. I see "+block+" and "+counterattack+" pop up above mob's heads as I shoot at them sometimes, but I have never seen anything similar show up over my head. This is somewhat significant, because damage *does* show up there, so if it was working I don't know why it wouldn't pop up there. I also keep an eye on my combat message chat tab from time to time, and have never seen any message that would suggest that I blocked an attack.

Granted, it could be that it *is* working, but just gets translated into a greater chance for opponents to miss. Be pretty tough to test for that, maybe Aldeon can get the rifleman developer to comment?

ive done dodging alot with cuz im a pistoleer.. but io was wonderign if the mods actually work..

I am sword 0-4-4-4, pike 4-0-4-4, and I never block, but I counter attack up a storm. The combat log is all white and green when I turn on COB, but it is all misses and counters, no block? Is this happening to anyone else?

yes thats block itll say block on enemies combat log, also it works as intended which sadly lets damage through. so many times ive been killed by this, where a fencer or swordsman would live.

I've read posts saying thatblock works and posts saying that it doesn't.

Assuming that it either does work or the devs will eventually fix it, does +X block mean that there is an X% chance that the succesful hit against you actually does damage, or is it something like X/2%? I ask because it would be possible to get +100 block by comboing with Pikeman or buying several skill attachments. I just bought a Block +6 armor attachment because I was able to get it cheap (55k).

Does block work against all damage, or just melee?

Block works, I think the combat message is messed up, but I picked up some +to block so I am at 92, and I block about 9/10 shots. The only time I get hit is a last ditch or eye spam from pistol or just another master rifleman around.

Not sure, but yeah im about to get 160 block from rifle pikeman lets hope it does work

eh I dont think rifleman block does, Ive been a master for months and I dont think Ive ever blocked an attack...

What is the point of having Block +160?One of the posters said thatBlock +92 blocks 90% of the attacks. So would that mean that Block +100 blocks 100% and that anything over Block +100 does nothing just like Rifle Speed +101? That can't be right; it must be capped. Is there something that the opponent has thatdecreases your Block bonus, like how accuracy is measured against melee/ranged D?

Also, if I have a Block +6 attachment in my helmet and another one in my chest plate, do I get Block +12 or Block +6?

Finally, does block work against ranged and melee attacks or just against melee?

Why don't they ever give us the equations to anything???

No Block DOES NOT work. You'll get the message that u've blocked/coutnerattacked an attack but the damage is really still registered.
