I'm about to go to bed, but. . .
There is a certain weapon(look here)that we Pikeman would like to have, perhaps in the future with a certain forthcoming update. Or some derivative of it would be nice. I realize there are copyright hurdles, probably. Tell us, can we perhaps hope to have this?
I'm sure there are other matters on Pikemen's minds, as well.

Thats a good topic.
Please post and dicuss the various ways you make money as a pikeman. Missions? Looting and selling? Non-combat (IE, sellin resources...yes, even pure pikeman can make money doing this!) or through means of flirting your way through a rich mistresses pocketbook?

Solo-groups on Dantooine

Yay me.
I do a little of this a little of that, bit of wheeling and dealing.
When the kace spawned i harvested that for 125cpu, i sold a LVA with 1166 max dmg for 12 mill when i bought it for 7mill.
BH armour selling, selling crystals, selling pikes, hell... i do everything. Except crafting (Me no likey)

When I'm short on cash I go to Cheesy Charlie's. Cheesy Charlie's is great. They have a game where you put in a dollar and you get four quarters. I win every time.

I'm an armorsmith on the side...it pays the bills. I'm a bit of a weapons collector so that's what I mainly spend my money on. It's so much fun running around collecting the loot to get an awesome weapon made. It's much more fulfilling then just going out and buying one.
My current quest is to find awesome geo power cubes and soldifying agent to get some gaffi sticks and stun batons made. I'm trying to prove that unless it's a great acklay bone it's not worth the 1 mill creds for that 65/65 bone.

Go join a hunter guild, every server will have doctors/armorsmith who need hide and meat, you can travel to places, grind and make money, expand your network in game. That's what i do

Well, I have a weaponsmith/smuggler on the side, so that helps a bit with the money.
In the end though, selling loot brings in more money than my meager weapon smithing. Crystals have netted me quite a bit, and the occasional skill tape can bring a nice price, but even largely useless stuff like a broken Gungan lance can bring it some money. Not to mention the nightsister armor bicep, which is probably the most expensive thing I've ever sold.
Last purchase of any value I made was a Wookiee Life Day Orb. It's one of those useless things that costs way too much, but dammit I wanted one.

OH! I know! What's the best damage wood staff everyone has? Hrm....just another topic on a weapon...but meh. I have a 104 max damage wood staff I keep on me in case of emergencies. I forget what kind of slice it got...either it got holes drilled in it by the smuggler (for speed) or it got sharp splinters put on it. Slicing is random they say? I'd hate to not have enough control over myself to know whether I'm drilling holes or making things more splintery.
I can't think of any other non-weapon topic really....except various food. And stupid philosphy homework that I should tab back to and finish.
