Presuming that the fixes coming this week(?) are on the test center, has anyone tested how it is... do they make things better?

The only change we see in this patch is the mitigation. I haven't been given access to the correspondent xp terminal yet so I ahven't been able to test this new ability.

Based on what I've seen in TC, there's still some major issues to resolve before the patch is pushed out to live, so I'm not sure if they will get it to us this week. They might, but I think next week would be a more plausible timeframe.

Agree, I want to be able to test these new things out on a master to see exactly how it will affect my current gameplay.

gunman is there ANY way you could push for changed accuracy mods on our weapons before the patch?

I'm sure the devs don't intend to fix it since they will be rolling out all these new combat changes in the coming months but I don't think I can stand 4 more months of the horrible accuracy I'm experiencing now.

Normally I'm against kludges but in this case I'm all for it.

These are the coming changes this week still, right?

Its so annoying that everything is listed on forums, not on separate webpages, like with UO where there was In testing page etc.

The thing about our accuracy mods on our weapons are the devs saying its not an issuse for us(pikes) it is a weaponsmith issue. I suggest that Gunman work with the Weaponsmith guy, that might help, and for us Pikes to maybe bring it up on their fourm. I have before once or twice.

You bet....I've been trying to push the accuracy and ham issues to get fixed sooner, but it doesn't look like they're willing to step outside of the scheduled changes for us. I'll keep trying though.

sure yeah right.

the devs expect me to believe that a master weaponsmith has total control over the fact that the LVA has -50 accuracy mods across the board. Why aren't other weapons that way? Heck even the power hammer has better accuracy mods and it's supposed to be thisinsanely heavy rock that people swing around.

We've got a few master weaponsmith's on intrepid devoted to melee and the best LVA I've seen was -50/-50/-50 on accuracy. That's not the worst. . . that's the best.

All that statment means is the devs don't realize how bad the accuracy is for a pikeman. You can not possibly expect me to believe that missing more times than you hit until you reach master is working as intended.

If it is then no wonder no one plays this profession. There are less frustruating things to do like watch factories and vendors mysteriously eat items, have crafting sessionabruptly endor have server rollbacks delete hours worth of xp.

I Think what he meant by it being a weaponsmith issue is not that the weaponsmiths can currently make more accurate weapons, but that the only way we will see more accuracy is if the weapons we use will be altered. If the devs give us more accuracy as a class then the weapons that don't have the -50 accross the board will be too accurate. Maybe asking the devs/weaponsmith correspondent to look at the poorness of the LVA will the best way to deal with the accuracy issues. Remember though that the LVA is only a 3rd box brawler weapon, it shouldn't be on par with the powerhammer, unless they switch it with the VL.
