Well...i don't use DoT's. Just want to know how many of us don't use DoT's
(Ps. My English isn't the best,so please don't flame me for bad grammars)

The ones that don't are the ones that get beat by defense stackers, doctors, and any TK.

why wouldn't you want to use DoT's..it's like saying you don't want to use specials when in a fight.if you have the ability why not use it???

I try not to. I usually end up using my good damge vl to help with stacker defence, and dizzy/kd spam, then move over to swordsman mind damage to finish them off. also intimidate 2 for the wiN!

By that logic, why not use every exploit you can find? For that matter, why not smoke crack and run over old ladies with your car? You have the ability.
People generally abstain from using DoTs because they consider them a cheap tactic, harmful to the profession, or otherwise distasteful in some way. They're making a choice to give up the power DoTs could give them because of the harm DoTs cause us. The ends don't always justify the means.
I can certainly respect that, though I can't truly count myself among them.

I don't use DOT's all that much. I have a 200 strength action poison VL but I always end up using my uber LVA.

The blowing it out of proportion was sort of the point, reductio ad absurdum. You don't support exploiting or crushing old ladies despite being able to, why support using DoTs just because you're able to?
The same thing happens in-game with anything some people consider "wrong", special attacks included. Back when you could spam KD after KD without a timer there were people who wouldn't do it, despite it being a guaranteed win. Just having an ability doesn't mean you have to (or even should) use it.

I may stop using DoTs when armor isn't impenetrable. Until then, screw it.

Want to hear something truly sad? Someone on scylla (who will not be named) constantly wins in duels and brags about it. Her template: Master Doctor/Some Fencer (mostly just the CoB line)/Speed and Accuracy line of pikeman. She has one, and only one tactic, she runs up to you and lays on a 313 points mind fire on you with pike, then she switches to a fencer weapon, hits CoB and runs and hides (usually playing hide and seek in banks where she can always stay out of range) while her DoT kills you. She does this to EVERYONE and it works. She has doctoronly because it helps her "hiding strategy" when she herself is immune to DoTs due to cures. No one without Doctor themselves stands a chance against her simply because of her Mind fire....Welcome to PvP in SWG
