Thread: A LOT of poeple complain about this profession...
just had to get that out, some people make me mad.
There are still some problems, but we are getting some attention now. (Hopefully)

I would have *payed* to see you solo a ronto pre-patch w/o pets.
The problem with this post is, most of us DO like pikeman, we just don't like how borken it is. The patch did fix some big issues, but there's still more that needs to be fixed before we can become a combat class worth something w/o pets or buffs.
Most people don't think we are broke because they are not Pikeman. Pick up a pike and please tell me we are not broke.
We are broken, I still kill myself without my pets or stims....I like being a pikeman and calling a group of people dimwitted was stupid, alot of people didn't get to see the changes until the servers went up so because we weren't good enough to put in the patch notes that shows exactly what we are thought of.
hey vayx, dont know if you realize this, but there's a reason that pikemam is the least played profession in the game
I agree , I have been a pikeman since beta it was fun then, it SUCKS ASS NOW!
Tonight getting killed by TKM not once but three times and only getting him to Half his ham and neither of us using speicals and him doing twice the damage i do at twice the speed **edit**!
They need to return the damage they nerfed the first week of live back to us I have said this I don't know how many times, in beta we were doing 3 to 5k at master pike. Not 1.5 to 3k and we still have neg's to hit and COB was given to every meele profession so the Strong got Stronger and the Weak got Weaker.

Get your head out of the gutter and go take BH/pistoleer, get as far as you can in that, see how good you are. Surrender ALL marksmen skills, and get master pikeman. Now tell me pikeman isn't broke.
Oh and, COOL! You can solo Tuskcats! Seriousley, not to be really rude and mean, but, Im a TKM, and I can solo TWO kamuriths UNBUFFED and WITH NO MED SKILLS.
so a class with a move that costs 250 ham for a melee without any worthy toughness is not broken...
Yeah pikeman rock when buffed up.. and with some brawler dfensive skills... Still its no excuse.
If you havent mastered2 3other combat classes and played with a master pikeman for a while, u might think the class is good with all those heavy sticks... but pikeman have troubles... thta need to be fixed... and your post is preventing the 100s of pikeman who cry out.
I'm currently not a pikeman but i always have to buff up my beloved wife when were playing, cause or else shes in trouble with those ham costs.

good for you, but I just wanted to let you know I solo Giant Mountain Krayts and Giant Dune Kimolas with my pikeman atm and it's all because of our bleed, highdamage and CoB. Go pet your kamuriths, they need your TKA pettingskills, cause let's face facts: you dolittle in damage compared to a pikeman
