Thread: A LOT of poeple complain about this profession...
Unbuffed/no stims/no pets Pikeman that would be something to see, sure its not logical but hehe.

are my skills, currently i have been able to take down, solo, uhm well lets see the best kill i have had as a random FS NPC and that wouldnt have happend without my mauler stopping me from getting DBd lol, i think that one thing that we do well is Ft Tusken, wow AoE attacks in there makes me feel special for once. There just arent enough people that like doing battles against groups IE Ft Tusken vs Large MOBS IE Krayts.

Well, it helps a lot, but the skills used were pikeman, and bleed is a very strong skill and against high resistance it can really do damage unlike TKA that will end up just poking the beast in the ribs while disease eats them alive. My tactic will for both instances be to bleed at a safe range, and stay out of the creatures range for the duration of the bleed. It is a pikemanskill andwe got it, not TKA for a change... 
Our bleeds are nice, and yea theres serious problems with pikemen, and yea all the non-holo ppl still enjoy it.
withthat out of the way, we (along wiht the rest of melee, not including TKA) are in desperate need of class definition ( not to be confused with the ability to kill everything and everyone). If they lay down a foundation and say that pikemen will have "A" "B" and "C" as strenghts and "D" "E" and "F" as weaknesses and so on for the rest ( fencer swordsman tka and for that matter all combat classes), then it will be super clear wether or not were "broken" or people are just whining.
and personally i think all pikemen deserve a little time to vent, because it is a class thats been ignored since launch and to be honest there's a whole lot more unity and positivity on this board then any other that iv'e seen.
go to the ch board, go to the bh board, go to the pistoleer board - 90% of their posts are about things they want and how everythings unfair and how ppl are not paying attention to them.
and then come back here - the contrast is pretty obvious.

The TKA skill that you used (obviously not realizing it) is Melee defense. combined with your melee defense from pikeman, your are very hard to hit. a pikeman without that extra buff, is waiting to be Krayt food. You can't tell me otherwise. when you reply to this message, please tell everyone your current melee and ranged defense.
