• Access to a master chef


• Access to spices


• Am a droid engineer as my other major (usually have a probot with me)


• Not a master brawler


• No medic skills


• No doctor buffs


• Very kick-butt advanced composite armor (80% kinetic)


• Currently using an LVA (stats are good for player made, unsliced, loaded with 33% health cost/16% weapon speed powerup)

What I am looking for is a food/spice combo and any other suggestions...like maybe a change of weapons, change of armor, additional items to look for, etc.

I am not sure if I understand you correct, but I will try to give a somewhat useful answer.

The way I see it; you can go professions/medic and rely on stimpacks to heal up, or you could go professions/non-medic and rely on regeneration rates(in which I mean secondaries at a decent level).

Buffs helps a lot when it comes to regeneration rates

erh... well, I can tell you my useage of buffs:

2 x Sunburns

2 x Ryshcates

1 x Muon Gold

1 x PowerBoost

Fishake for when the downer hits unexpected ...and yes, Ido combaton 10 mins intervalls so things better die fast!

Personally, the way the combat system is now, I always suggest that you pick up medic reguardless of your combat profession.

Not only will you be able to help incapped teammates, but you'll be able to negate some of your ham costs as well.

2x rhyscate and 1 breath of heaven gives you about 1500-1600 str/quick/focus
Advanced 70%+ kinetic ubese is much much lighter than composite. With 400/400/450 secondaries, I can put on a full suit of ubese (not all sliced for encumbrance, even) without any buffs of any kind.

But like Gunman said, it is much much easier with some medic.

Rhyscate is a strength/quickness/focus food, breath of heaven is a strength/quickness/focus drink. You can take 2 rhyscate and 1 breath of heaven on an empty "stomach." Although, with the new chef changes, you'll have to check the chef forum to see the new foods. I'm not sure if these will continue as they are.

if you have str/quick/focus buffed, but no med skills, increasing your mind pool with muon won't help much of anything except in a fight with a rifleman.

when the publish goes through thursday there is an awesome food combo now for pikeman...it consists of 3 foodsthat if you take all 3 all 9 stat pools are buffed by roughly 200 for 30 minutes...that will be your cure i feel

Sounds promising, but I'd rather have 1600 secondaries for 8-12 minutes at a time.

Master Pikeman is the reason I went Master Doctor too

It makes things so much easier.

The jist of it is that you can do it - very few classes can take on shallow tortons (when conning yellow) without armor or medic and live to tell about it LOL The downtime for regeneration will get to you .. but you can do it definately... HAM changes may change that.

What I did was I bought a second account ... put my artisian on one account, put my combat class on the other. Haven't regretted it since.
