Thread: Submit your Pikeman issues here
Please submit any bugs, gameplay issues, wishlist items, etc.Also, please list the issue you want fixed the most as #1.
I will tally them up in a week or so and submit the highest ones as our top 5.
*Please* remember that HAM/Accuracy will be fixed in the Jan publish, and that they are already aware of the toughness, block, and hit3 not being a x4 attack. You may still list them as your top 5 and I will still count them, but I encourage you to submit new issues since the old ones are already getting dev attention and will be fixed.

Well until we see exactly what they intend to do with the HAM/accuracy and other changes going into the jan publish its hard to say what might need to be fixed. So i mainly have a wish list item. I would like to see a few more options when it comes to weapons. the only 2 that are being used once you reach polearm 4 in brawler tree are the VL and LVA. Andeven then ionly see people use the VL when something has a high kenetic resist, bacause the damage on it sucks compaired to the LVA. So mayby a few more weapon types would add a bit of veriety. Perhaps we can get a polearm weapon that does some sort of energy or heat damage. Maybe get a few weapons that can get really good speed stats on them (2.5, 2.0 ect)

SORRY! My computer keeps [posting as i type odd! anyway DEFENSE! Like all melee get like 3 times the KNOCK DOWN DEFENSE! And toughness... then HAM COSTS, block and accuracy! At Master Pike i know whats going on with pike ![]()

Let me just say i have nothing against the correspondant
So here's my top 5 issues
1) accuracy
2) HAM (not as big a problem if accuracy were fixed)
3) crowd-control moves generally not effective with knockdown timer in place
4) overall lousy defenses
5) getting tired of being fed placebos (vague "it'll be fixed" responses, useless damage mitigation, etc)

I made a DB macro that runs the wellknown "Finish him!", "Fatality!" and "Braglor wins". I too would love to see some finishing moves, trophys or something, anything.. There are so many aspects of PvPSOE can improve in, and finishing moves would be a nice little step in the correct direction.
Anyways, my pikeman issue number ONE from the obvious ones(HAM, Accuracy, Block, Mitigation, PvP, etc...) are the CLASS DEFINITION.I would really really REALLY like to see a class definition of our professionone day. We have so much potential and so little attention. ![]()
Yes it is very hard to state what we want now, as we really wont ubderstand how different our Pike will be untill 4 months from now when the Profession balance is pushed.
-As for some people saying more weapons, with the weaponos push, I belive we are getting some. Although different types of damage on them would be nice!
-Yes Midigation has pretty much screwd us...re-examine it. Some Profession's,TKA, only got like a 9% decrease in there damage output, where we got 30% and higher?!?!?!?
Aside from, defense/toughness, accuracy, HAM, CoB block crap, and our Hit 3 modifier and our range mods..... Id be pretty happy![]()
Wish list stuff:
(Some of this might not be Pike specific, but I though Id stay in line with the Devs:smileysurprised![]()
-Once you hit Master you still accrue xp correct or not?..if so how about those points be able to be used for obtaining High-end Special moves, or perhaps more +mods ie Defense, Defense v. States, accuracy..ect... Make them cost alot lot too say 750,000 for your first oppertunity. Then 1 million..and so on.
-Rebalance the our Mods throught out the trees...+30 accuracy at 0/0/0/2.? Why not make it +10 at the first box, then +20 at the third...Basically are Mods are grouped up in bunches at certine levels, I think They should be spaced out more.
-On the subject of Mods, how about Mod Buffs? That would be fun.
-I havent Deathblowed anyone in a while but is there and actually animation for that, if not Id like to see one..or with Npcs, mabye the final hit that kills the mob could have a different animation with a "Finishing" type move animation.
Thats it for now I guess..ill be back if I conjure up more...
